Judge Merchan must be using an inkstone and brush to write his sentencing decision. Well, that was his choice. He presumably had an election-year calendar at his disposal.

Smith’s team explained the filing will include Grand Jury transcripts and heretofore undisclosed evidence of Trump’s wrongdoings. Trump should be very, very worried that TWO separate DC grand juries have concluded that he deserves to be tried for what he did. If they didn’t think he’s guilty, they wouldn’t have indicted him. And all that info coming out 5-6 weeks before the election might just be a little damaging to Trump’s campaign … at least in the eyes of undecided/independent voters.
