The problem is people never listen to Huey when he tries to educate them or they do and suffer for it (like in the Soul Plane episode when he got all those people fired)
@DDarkestKnight that's the humor of reality though where too many people just wanna act out with emotions especially if their default mindset is "eye for an eye" and dont want to listen to what somebody like Huey has to say
The prisoners in the Scared Straight program were usually nonviolent prisoners, genuinely reformed prisoners, or prisoners who agreed to it to lessen their sentence.
The most frightening thing about this man is that he originally went to jail for a robbery and was sexually assaulted by wardens there his first time and when he started assaulting them back they just piled on sentences
Go look at the Dontae shoe with lamark Moore fleece is about to go on the Kai cenat show and they gonna do a celebrity boxing match for the bokty warrior title
This episode is so funny but when one of the prisoner says "I just wish things were different, I'd give anything in the world for things to be different." I thought that was what many people feel in those type of situations. It was a deep sentiment.
The more I rewatch the Boondocks, the more I understand why we don’t see or hear much of Aaron McGruder anymore and I don’t blame him one bit. He has so many targets on his back, especially now since Fleece Johnson is out of jail now🤣 Not to mention, Fleece actually saw this episode and hated his portrayal. I’d probably stay inside too💀💀💀💀
"I call it a peanut butter, jelly and asshole sandwich. But Tom here, will be callin it lunch" 😂cheers normies, this episode went triple diamond when it dropped my freshman yr of hs
that's kinda why we're having such a crisis in this country rn tbh. With so many single people not gettin any, it really feels like it's turned up the crazy.
Apart of me wishes that the original inspiration the for the epsidoes was shown to the group after watching it on boondocks first. Like the teacher saying the N word.
Wow! I have recently been watching some of my favorite episodes of this through your channel and was just looking for this episode last night, but realized you haven't reached it yet. Now you drop it the next day, I'm pleasantly scared XD
24:52 Yes Navi those are 2 very different things. East Indians are from actual India in the Eastern Hemisphere and West Indians are from the Caribbean in the Western Hemisphere. I'm a West Indian by definition but I'm 100% black from Jamaica. So yes 2 different things
This might be my favorite episode i makes me laugh way to hard the guy talking in the background when hes like "I like you and i want you" kills me lol.
As a kid in elementary school, I grew up in the hood and they took us to the count jail as a field trip so the prisoners would tell us consquences of gangs and crime. All of the boys were terrified and I remember the girls making fun of us. I asked one of them you not scared, and she said what for, they don't want us lol. Bruh! The prisoners we spoke to were cool. They told us the truth and scared us a little, but it wasnt xtreme. I definitely wasnt trying to go to jail after that trip. But when we were walking through the prison hallways they were screaming fresh meat smh.
This show did something nobody could've ever expected. Any show to be able to do it made actually funny R@p3 jokes. Saying that out loud sounds insane.
Late response. Prostitutes were originally used as a reward for prisoners in the past. It was called Conjugal visits. Later the visits banned prostitutes and only allow visitors that were family or associates of the inmate.
I actually agree with the gang here.... this episode feels WAY more ban-worthy than any of the actual banned episodes, lol. Still one of my favorites, though! 😁
In most places, these labor jobs(namely outside of the prison) have to be voluntary and a privilege to be earned with the benefit of gaining more trust and the potential of lightning your sentence, even gaining time off your sentence due to good behavior and community at most, possibly moved to a lower security prison, and/or access more resources to for programs, materials, and personal items at least, all based on your record and why your in jail. Though these laws and practices do vary between states.
To be honest Chris I think you should have had them react to the actual clip after watching the episode since you pretty much ruined the surprise..... Guess Spoiler-Man strikes again 😂
pitch perfect where the lesbian woman consistently gropes, kisses, and harasses one of the other bellas. does knowing sexual assault is played for laughs on both sides make you feel better?
Lol what... This show parodies rape, racism, gun violence, murder, spousal abuse, ... Offensive humour isn't for everybody, but it's odd to single out male rape like this. Female rape is often featured in similarly offensive shows (Family Guy, South Park, ...).
in California, prisoner who are part of firefighter program. They get reduce sentences and majority them become actual firefighter once they get released. Plus it those camps are better than actual Prison
The first scared straight film was in 1978. They came to a lot of middle schools in the ghetto in the 80s and 90s. The school would recommend bad students. A lot of my friends would go and see older guys from our neighborhood and "rival" hoods. It didn't scare them straight
"I likes ya and i wants ya now we can do this the easy way or we can do this the hard way the choice is yours" this is probably the most quoted thing from this show
Now they need to watch the clip of Tom Segura talking about Scared Straight while they slice in the actual episode. That's hilarious and scary all at the same time.
Ah yes the Booty Warrior, so strong he even beat Cell. Love how this episode was so outta..(prison) pocket, that even Uncle Ruckus apologized for his racism

This episode funny AF, but i love Huey's ability to educate almost anyone he talks to. He did this earlier in the soul plane episode as well.
The problem is people never listen to Huey when he tries to educate them or they do and suffer for it (like in the Soul Plane episode when he got all those people fired)

The long wait of this episode is over, this episode alone should be in a museum😂😂📈
Just FYI Fleece Johnson has been released from prison for about two years. He has a second interview out and its frightening
He even has a RUclips channel

It’s crazy how male rape is just a gag in mainstream media. I can’t think of any movie or show where a woman being rape was made into a comedy bit
