An origin story actually makes the most sense for Mirror's Edge. Imagine how little creativity they would have had with the sequel. The runners are all broken and disbanded with their leader dead. Faith is going into hiding along with her sister. The main evil corporation is defeated and gone. Yeah, there's really nothing to go on there. So, you get a prequel with far more richness and freedom to draw from.
***** It sucks as an RPG. They simplified the mechanics to make it more like a shooter and made you over-powered from the start (Power Armor, which took dozens of hours to get to in previous Fallouts, is found less than an hour after the start of the game). The dialogues were very streamlined as well and didn't allow nearly as much freedom and options as the previous games. The voiced protagonist, at least the male one, was boring and uncharismatic, which was partially due to his inconsistent line delivery and partially due to pretty bad and lifeless writing overall. A lot of the side quests seem more like Borderlands than Fallout, where you just clear a location of monsters/raiders/mutants without any context or additional story. And those 3 types of enemies are also the only hostile inhabitants on most of the map. New Vegas had several factions that fought with each other over resources or ideologies, which made the world a lot more varied and the game more replayable. But in Fallout 4, you spend 80% of the game shooting the same enemies, who are always absolute bad guys with no redeemable qualities whose sole purpose in life is to be an obstacle for the player.
even though everything you say is true and fallout 4 lacks a lot of what made new vegas good I still really liked the game and enjoyed it, the problem for me was the factions the ending and how there was not much replay value

Ubisoft took an absolutely colossal financial kick in the balls when Unity was released. Syndicate is running on the same engine so hopefully they have ironed out the issues. barrymk400 You don't realize that pressing buttons is bad for your fingers. it's stupid : when you start a game nothing happens, you have to use some strange plastic device to make your character do basic stuff like walking, and for exemple when you want to move forward you have to press the forward button, wtf, but if you want your character to turn right you have to stop pressing the forward button and press an other one, this is so stupid, that's not what I want from a game

The Darkest Knight Trial and Error gameplay: the process of experimenting with various methods of doing something until one finds the most successful. Cuphead actually does look really fun. It looks like of those oldschool games that would just play to see who could get the highest score, while enjoying the comedic animations and storyline.
Although Gears remastered was a remaster and more of a way to create buzz for the gears community for gears of war 4, the coalition actually did right by the fans in my book. They provided the extra campaign act, all PC exclusive multiplayer maps, continual support for the online multiplayer, dedicated servers, additional campaign cut scenes, new achievements, additional game modes from future games, and a multiplayer beta prior to launch. Oh, and by the way, this came at a $40 price point new and gave anyone that bought and played it before 12/31/15 free copies of all of the other gears games for backwards compatibility, and everyone who played it before 3/1/16 early access to the upcoming gears of war 4 multiplayer beta. All in all I get the sin, it is a remaster, however I just want to point out that as far as remasters are handled, this is how to do them. This was a big THANK YOU to the community and invites new players to experience the origins of one of the best Xbox 360 games. If all remasters removed all DLC, included it with the game, and reduced their original selling point to $40 just like this one, remasters would be viewed quite differently. Love what you guys do. Agree with the remaster sin, just wanted to differentiate this remaster from the other money grubbing ones.

I do not care about E3 at all, wasn't excited for it, didn't watch anything with it, and there seems to be way to much reaction videos around, almost all saying ho disappointing it was. So I didn't have high hopes for this video. I was wrong, that was amazing, I was laughing when you said Samus should be in Halo and said Boba Fett got killed by Samus twice in death battle(The fact Samus was in both is a coincidence) This was great, and in all honesty I wish it came out earlier, I just got more information about E3 that I care about, without a lot of bulls*** I don't, and it was funny. Sick of the biased 343 hate. This has to stop now. 343 fixed Reach's disasterous matchmaking settings, they made Combat Evolved Anniversary and incorporated the MP maps into Reach. Halo 4 was the best selling Halo game to date, it released perfectly functional and finally began giving real depth to the story for once. They have done so much for the lore community. HUNTtheTRUTH and Forward Unto Dawn were both amazing. And the Halo 5 Beta was just short of absolute perfection... But they mess up once, just ONCE and suddenly they are the hitter of gaming? And the best part is they didn't realy have much choice with the Master Chief collection either. Microsoft rushed them to port 4 games and have them online ready to all run on the same servers in less than a year. I don't know how you think porting games works but it's not just copying and pasting. They were set up to fail. Aside from a few questionable choices with halo 4s mp design (like making the BR 5shot and putting plasma pistols and names in load outs and nerfing forge) and going on a killing spree with the lore charachters, 343 has done a fantastic job outside of having to rush the MCC
And what irks me even more is that BUNGiE went full €A, sold us a fourth of a game with no story and absolutely garbage PvP, locked half the game on the disk and now wants us to rebuy the entire game again to get the last quarter and the. Wants us to pay another 20 for a clap emote and yet everyone still holds them on a pedestal and will defend their bullshit practices to the death.
I agree. Even though Reach had its flaws with the bloom mechanic, some of the armor abilities ballance, and contradictions with the lore, it's scale, variety and sheer ammonium of content make it the best in the series. Campaign missions were all a blast to play and replay, the awesome armor keeps you coming back to matchmaking despite its flaws, and forge and custom games were the absolute hi light of my days on Xbox.

Ubisoft took an absolutely colossal financial kick in the balls when Unity was released. Syndicate is running on the same engine so hopefully they have ironed out the issues. In other words; dying multiple times/Getting stuck at one part of the game until you figure out what you're supposed to be doing/how to get past one part.

Cuphead actually does look really fun. It looks like of those oldschool games that would just play to see who could get the highest score, while enjoying the comedic animations and storyline.
Although Gears remastered was a remaster and more of a way to create buzz for the gears community for gears of war 4, the coalition actually did right by the fans in my book. They provided the extra campaign act, all PC exclusive multiplayer maps, continual support for the online multiplayer, dedicated servers, additional campaign cut scenes, new achievements, additional game modes from future games, and a multiplayer beta prior to launch. Oh, and by the way, this came at a $40 price point new and gave anyone that bought and played it before 12/31/15 free copies of all of the other gears games for backwards compatibility, and everyone who played it before 3/1/16 early access to the upcoming gears of war 4 multiplayer beta.
All in all I get the sin, it is a remaster, however I just want to point out that as far as remasters are handled, this is how to do them. This was a big THANK YOU to the community and invites new players to experience the origins of one of the best Xbox 360 games. If all remasters removed all DLC, included it with the game, and reduced their original selling point to $40 just like this one, remasters would be viewed quite differently.

I do not care about E3 at all, wasn't excited for it, didn't watch anything with it, and there seems to be way to much reaction videos around, almost all saying ho disappointing it was. So I didn't have high hopes for this video.

343 fixed Reach's disasterous matchmaking settings, they made Combat Evolved Anniversary and incorporated the MP maps into Reach.
Halo 4 was the best selling Halo game to date, it released perfectly functional and finally began giving real depth to the story for once.
They have done so much for the lore community. HUNTtheTRUTH and Forward Unto Dawn were both amazing. And the Halo 5 Beta was just short of absolute perfection...
But they mess up once, just ONCE and suddenly they are the hitter of gaming? And the best part is they didn't realy have much choice with the Master Chief collection either. Microsoft rushed them to port 4 games and have them online ready to all run on the same servers in less than a year. I don't know how you think porting games works but it's not just copying and pasting. They were set up to fail.
Aside from a few questionable choices with halo 4s mp design (like making the BR 5shot and putting plasma pistols and names in load outs and nerfing forge) and going on a killing spree with the lore charachters, 343 has done a fantastic job outside of having to rush the MCC
And what irks me even more is that BUNGiE went full €A, sold us a fourth of a game with no story and absolutely garbage PvP, locked half the game on the disk and now wants us to rebuy the entire game again to get the last quarter and the. Wants us to pay another 20 for a clap emote and yet everyone still holds them on a pedestal and will defend their bullshit practices to the death.

Even though Reach had its flaws with the bloom mechanic, some of the armor abilities ballance, and contradictions with the lore, it's scale, variety and sheer ammonium of content make it the best in the series. Campaign missions were all a blast to play and replay, the awesome armor keeps you coming back to matchmaking despite its flaws, and forge and custom games were the absolute hi light of my days on Xbox.
