Fenix TK 30 White Laser Flashlight vs. Heavy Window Tint

This short video is the first attempt at illustrating how an LEP light performs when searching a vehicle with heavy window tinting. My truck was used for the tests and in addition to tinted front and rear side windows, all windows were covered with dirt and road grime. The back window is also heavily tinted. The vehicle was on a slight upslope, which made it more difficult to illuminate through the back window. This made for an especially challenging test environment.
Note that the amount of front-window tinting is governed by Texas state law, while there are no state restrictions on rear-window tinting.
There are a number of interesting beam shots from this light, including from inside the vehicle with the TK 30 mounted on a tripod outside the vehicle.
This video was filmed with an #iphone 12 Pro MAX. This phone normally does a good job with night videos and requires very little in the way of color correction. Unfortunately, it did not have sufficient dynamic range to properly record the TK 30 beam shots with reflections off the glass and vehicle body. Those reflections were overexposed and there was no possible recovery in post since the video was filmed in a lossy format. I made some compensation in post, but keep in mind that those reflections look brighter in the video than with the unaided eye.
