When OGN used to do the Masters Cup which was a separate tournament from the OGN regular season, they used to have some fun and have some All-Star style games and have coaches pick top players from various teams. All the players were afraid of playing with Kkoma since he was so intense. They would cry out “no not Kkoma” and begrudgingly join his team.
Those were the fun days before Riot got rid of sister teams and made everyone do round robin style tournaments.

Really love seeing how Kkoma pointed every mistakes of any player did in game without sugarcoating his sentences and the amount of respect of SKT members give to Kkoma back, not being emotional, just listen, adapt, change and work together, their team is not just consists of 5 players playing on stage, and also all the members in the supportive team at the back

That's probably why they are such a power house, their ability to remain calm and fix what they did wrong throughout a series, to not take Kkoma's words personally, and Kkoma's ability to tell them exactly what they did wrong without sugarcoating it like you said.

yeah think about how different Huni is on SKT. If you see him when he was on other teams, he was always making jokes and playing around. SKT turned him from a cocky mechanical player to a real professional. Kudos to the SKT organization.

Simple UZI doesn't have the supporting cast faker but most importantly, faker never shuts down even when down 0-2 in the world finals. He finds ways to instill confidence in his team with his own play, he carried this current and previous SKT teams to chips(i think they'll 3-1 samsung this weekend) by just outplaying and dominating. Until UZI finds that confidence and patience, he'll always be a great but never a legend like faker.

If you notice, Uzi doesn't actually carry that hard if his teams aren't performing. On paper he had a better RNG roster last year, still he wasn't performing. Looking back at Worlds 2014, one of the games they took off SSW was won when their team made a good engage and Uzi cleaned up. Uzi's a legacy player, one of the best to play the game, but he needs to be the focal point of a team, the team fails which is why they switched to Xiaohu.

Kk0ma really is on another level. The way he disciplined Huni seemed like he was putting the pain hard but you could tell that at the same time he was encouraging him to play his best. He can scold them hard while at the same time motivating them and not treating them badly. Also his strategic mind is on a whole other level

The trust and confidence he has for his players, and the encouragement he gave them were amazing.
He even said before in an interview: “When you have the best players in the world and still lose, it’s the coach’s faults!”
    #respect
