  • Mustard algae is one of the most stubborn forms of algae. I wanted to see if a combination of phosphate remover and chlorine would get rid of it. It worked out well. But a key factor in getting rid of phosphates is cleaning your filter afterward. You see, phosphate removers will collect the phosphates inside your filter. It is a very important step to clean the filter about a week after adding the product to the pool to fully remove the phosphates, leaving your pool sparkling and clear.
    In this video I show how you can clean a large single element filter (Predator Clean & Clear 150 sq ft) using our Cyclone Lite and the Large Adapters set.

    I vacuum looks great a couple days. Then clumps form again all on the bottom of the pool. Tired of continually vacuuming

    How much of the product should I use for 19,000 gallon pool. I’m in Georgia, this crap is a headache.
