In Mqabba we celebrate 2 feasts....Our Lady of the Lilies (Madonna tal-Gilju) on the 3rd Sunday of June and The Assumption of Our Lady (known as Santa Marija) on 15th August. Thanks for this video in the week of our beloved festa. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mqabba
That Cross in front of the church is a Dejma Cross. Dejma was a militia made up of male citizens who used these crosses as a gathering site to then go defend the islands from raiders. A Dejma list was recorded in 1419. So those crosses could date from that era.
