Credit where it’s due I thought Bolton played some pretty good football and certainly aren’t a bad team! Charlton are just onto something special right now, we are going to be a very very hard team to beat this year. Good luck for the rest of the season
Great video. Bolton fans in the comments and on X slating Evatt, his tactics and your new formation. It's not helped that you've played two teams in us and Wrexham who'll be in the mix at the end. Your team has come to the Valley in the last three years and basically taken the p*ss, so it must be a shock to the system when that doesn't happen. But we're a much MUCH better team than last season: decent keeper, a defence worthy of the name, more skill and savvy in midfield - and, of course, the pressing. Obviously, losing May was a blow but we were far too reliant on him anyway. You'll get a better idea of the team's prospects after ten or twelve games. Things should look a lot rosier by then. Still, at least the food in the fanzone was better than the slop you normally get behind the Jimmy Seed. Every cloud... Good luck for the rest of the season (apart from 11th January, obviously😂).
With the squad of players you have, you should walk this league. Think you'll cone good, you've had a couple of tricky games. Bolton have managed to keep their best players and add to the squad. You're in a good position

Deja Vu....same useless system and tactics that don't work in league one and a manager who doesn't realise it. Why do we persist with 5 at the back. 3 seasons in and it still doesn't work. Scrap useless ineffective wing backs and go to 4 at the back beef up the midfield who then supply the attack...mix up the play go long and attack the second ball..we are woeful at competing for second ball phase. If our manager cannot change then we need to change him. With his old club Blackpool seeking a manager now would be a good time to jump ship Blackpool fans would welcome him with open arms. We need a manager who is tactically better and can adapt and change a system that doesnt work. It's about to get toxic if this is allowed to continue.
