Fun fact: The whole "Where do we go now?" part of the song is actually because none of the band members had no idea what to do after Slash's solo so Axl just kept singing "where do we go now?" in the booth
I also heard that the intro was just Slash messing around while the band was hanging out one day. As a joke Slash started trying to mimic circus music on his guitar, Axl loved it and the rest is history.
Lol is that true
@@jennyrengood9875 think duff said that on a documentary for vh1 or something back in the day but didn't know the where do we go now bit... wow that's interesting
I went here to write that.
Did you also read Slash's bio?
@@jennyrengood9875 it was actually a warm up he did for his fingers. And now it's for the ages.
I'm just gonna put myself out there and let you know that I suffer from major depression and anxiety and most of my days are spent inside my house. I have to tell you that watching your videos make me so happy. I LOVE you as a person. You are amazing! Dont ever change. Thank you for being you and adding some joy to my days ❤
You are not alone Nikki.
Same 😉
Yes me also. I get panic attacks in public
Stay strong :)
Same here. Anxiety, depression and PTSD. I don't leave my house a lot. This channel is a bright spot in my daily life that I really need. Thanks bruh! 🥰✌️
Slash’s solos are always re-play worthy. Skills.
Slash is top 5 ever, imho! I can recognize Slash from 1 or 2 notes.
Facts
@Ricky Crawford All are ridiculously great! Not a bad one in the bunch.
💯❣️
Don't forget Stevie Ray Vaughn
My daughter was born in 1989 and this was the song I dedicated to her.
Hot take: Slash from Guns N Roses goes on the list of greatest guitar artists of all time.
Agreed
💯
not a very hot take lol
Slash is the GOAT tho
Slash is without a doubt top 10 and I don’t wanna hear no ones shit
6:47 Fun Fact: the band thought the exact same thing. After the guitar solo they didn’t know what else to do but the singer, Axel Rose, started singing “Where do we go?” and they turned that into the end of the song
Is it just me or everyone start swerving around everytime this song comes on😂😂They were my favorite band when I was a teen and now I'm 46 and still start that Axl swerve everytime even without the video😂I think it's habit now
Saaaaame 😂😂😂😂
Its a guarantee when this one comes on in the car its going all the way up 😅😆
I swerve to "Patience". You just MUST. 😂
Ditto!
@@user-or1ye3iz6d I'm pretty sure I do with a good majority of their music😂 but yeah I'll def. give you that one. Lol
Imagine being in high school and cruising around with your dudes while listening to these guys. Great times. Love your reactions- keep em coming.
I had this black Prelude with this ridiculous sound system. After school we would pile in and this red bandana and blast this tune leaving the parking lot smoking this 1 and a half 3 stage bong with dank home grown from this wonderful strain as we drove to the head shop for whippits or the adult book store for video head cleaner. Lol
The 2016 GNR reunion was the best concert of my life! I raised my kids on GNR, and I was heartbroken when they split up before the kids were old enough for concerts. When they got back together and announced the tour, I spent $1000 on tickets, and probably another $1000 driving across Florida, on hotels, food and gas. And then another couple hundred at the concert for T-shirts and $10 beers. Lol 😂. And it was worth every penny. My kids loved it, and I don’t think we sat down once during the whole night! I have lupus and fibro, and I was hurting so bad afterwards from dancing, that my poor son in law had to carry my busted ass back to our car! (And The Cult opened, which was also amazing!). It’s definitely the most money I’ve ever spent on a concert, but it was a long wait and something we thought would never happen!
You sound like an amazing parent 😂
My brother and I were raised with parents just like you. I’ve seen more concerts with my parents than I can count. Lots of Grateful Dead, Allman Bros, and other jam bands but, there were a couple GnR shows. Which were incredible! Even the tour from 2/3 years ago was awesome.
Cheers to you being an awesome parent!!
✌️💗😊
Great dad right here!! Definitely money well spent by the sounds of that!
@@byronchannells4517 actually, I’m the Mom, but Dad did his part too! Our daughter was between 12-15 years old during the heyday years of Limp Bizkit, Kid Rock, Godsmack, Rob Zombie etc., and he was the one who took her, and all of her friends to all of those concerts. Bless him, he’s a country music man, but she was Daddy’s girl, and he would have done anything for her. Still does even though she’s married with her own kids now! 🤣
@@thefloridamimi9278 I'm sorry ❤ well done Mum! My mum used to stay up an listen to my favourite boxer's fight live on the radio with me in the early hours of the morning when I was a kid something I'll cherish forever! God bless mum's! ❤❤
I heard this song long time ago. It played when my son, a Marine went to Fallujah, he got hurt, every time I hear this brings tears. I could have lost him. I got him back, damaged, but I got him back.
Been with since day one, He and I have been through so much. PTSD and depression, etc. He has other Marine mothers and dad have been there for him. He is my sweet child of mine.
Please tell your son thank you for his bravery and service.
Doesn't matter where this song comes on or who I'm with, I'm doing the Axl dance and singing along. A forever fav, thanks for reacting 🥰🥀🔫🔥
Ax-eling is what we called it. Like Angus-ing, lol
@@TheRealSweetcherryo Yeessssss! I have a new word to describe my bad dancing 🤣 and skipping lol
@@nanip2029 it's all in the ankles and shoulders lol
@Hitler Senpai?
@@TheRealSweetcherryo I know, girl, I was wondering the same thing lol
The greatest rock solo in history, in this mans opinion. The structure and harmonic play with vocals in latter part... masterpiece.
And thats a bi racial man in the top hat burning that les paul up
I agree 💯
Absolutely, masterpiece-so many bands have tried it',and so many have failed. Other than the Stones, GNR could Rock a ballad.
Agree. I'm more of a punk/oi kind of dude (not like blink 182 pop punk) but this is 100% the top solo in the history of all forms of rock
It's an amazing solo, gets me amped every time I hear it. But it's no way near what Steve Ray Vaughn or Eddie Vedder can play.
This song is simply LEGENDARY. That solo is the DEFINITION of face-melter!!!
🔥🔥🔥
Damn, Slash is a badass. 🥵
Yep. Fated to be a rock guitar god
No, Slash is THE badass
@@lukejackson6436 FACTS. 🔥
@@lukejackson6436 You're right
Facts!
That pure joy you express when you are really getting into a song is priceless.
you should react to the guns n roses version of knockin on heavens door
Do the version from “GNR Live at the Ritz ‘88”
It's their best song imo😍
YES. YES. YES. Please....
Also great knocking on heavens door.
"Give us some REGGAE!"
Classic!!! Guns and Roses and Bon Jovi got me through the 80's when all the great bands and Elvis had left the building in the 70's.
I've only recently discovered you. Your videos were my distraction during the hurricane here this past weekend. Thank you. You're doing great. Keep going, brother.
Same here.
And I'm having a good time 😂
Stay safe and welcome to the party. This man is for real. He'll have you smiling and laughing each and every video 😁😁
Yes, I have laughed and cried. I am hooked.
Hope you were ok
My earliest childhood memory is being maybe two and my mom (a massive G&R fan)holding me and singing this song. I can say it definitely helped shaped my music tastes.
You are such a breath of fresh air. Saying that as a 65 year young lady. THANK YOU!!!!!!#!
The guitar solo legit gave me goosebumps after hearing it again after many years. Damn
I want to see him react to Don't Cry just for the last minute of the song where Axel holds that final note.
Totally!
My favourite song. It has it all, Axel's great vocals, Slash's brilliant guitar, slow, fast, soft, screaming, sexy dancing, damn it's a great song. I Luhhvv Iiit!! 💖💖💖
One of the best albums of all time 'Appetite For Destruction' - every song a belter. You've gotta listen to Night train, Rocket Queen and Mr. Brownstone - even just the audio versions mate. You'll love them.
This is probably the greatest rock and roll song in history. Seriously. Lyrically, musically, attitude, production. Probably the best at least past 35 years or more.
You are a gift. The only things I remembered from my teen years was the bad stuff, it wasn't a good time for me. Watching you react to the music I was listening to brings back so many great memories I didn't even know I had. Thank you. 🤗
That song and video captured them at their absolute peak!! Man, redefined hard rock in one record....one of the best debut records of all time
He was singing about his girlfriend, Erin Everly, who is the daughter of one of The Everly Brothers (look them up... Very famous music group from the older generation).
Facts
The first concert I ever went to... I was about 11 years old and my parents and aunt and uncle brought me with them to see The Everly Brothers. At the time, I remember thinking that I was the only young person there and didn't quite understand the magnitude of what was happening. But now I look back and realize how very lucky I was to see the Everly Brothers in concert!! I'm 46 years old now. So I think that is rare for people my age and younger to be able to say. ❤️
@@user-or1ye3iz6d the Everly Brothers are legends. And Don Everly is Erins dad
That's funny, K, because I'm 72 And they were an early favorite, along with Roy Orbison and Elvis.
She's the pretty brunette model with the white blouse and camera in this video :)
The first time I heard this, I was cashiering during the beginning of semester at campus bookstore at a friggin' HUGE university. This tune came on and ALL the checkout lines (there were 20 registers set up) just stopped cold. even the supervisor was just howling "Oh this soooooong! I just looooove this soooooong!" Brings back my youth and makes me feel like things are okay! Stay safe, stay peaceful, sending love xxx
i’ve been binge watching your reactions for the past couple days now you reacting to one of my favorite songs
Slash vocalized with his guitar solos. He is totally pause, and rewind worthy. That's an honest reaction. Axl's voice is haunting as ever, focusing you on the story. Together they make magic. I love seeing it through your eyes. You bring brightness to the songs of my youth. This was 1988 for me. Thanks again for bringing delight to my days. You are a RockStar \m/
Mr. brownstone my Michelle you won’t catch me
You won't catch me is actually called Out ta get me
@@Shun101010 right on👊
Mr Brownstone is a crazy song
My favorite 2 GnR songs.
Mr Brownstone, yep, that is a son he'd like. Good old hashish
I want you to know that during these trying times in our country watching your reaction videos to some of my favorite rock and roll bands really cheers me up. Thanks dude. 🥰
Fun Fact: When Axl Rose brought this song to them (about the girl he was with at the time), Slash seriously thought it was a joke but when he found out that Axl was serious about doing it Slash was SOOOO pissed and he HATED IT!!😏✌️😉
Why??? I'm confused 😕
Slash is actually gorgeous. Google slash and his mother. There’s a pic of him with his hair all pulled back and you can see his face. 🥰
Hes English too
He's also got a great body. Those black leather pants with no shirt...
Right? Still looking FAF in his 50s! One of those rare guys that was fated to be a rock star. Just cool, hot and talented without trying. His American mom designed stage costumes for the likes of Bowie and his British dad did the artwork for some late 60s album covers for various artists.
You Should do “CIVIL WAR” it’s just something else
Yup .
One of their best songs in my opinion
Yes this
Very underrated
By far one of the best and most emotional songs of the Guns
Please react civil war. Kisses from Brasil.
One of the greatest rock songs of all time, on one of the best rock albums of all times with one of the best guitar solos of all time.
Dude, you've opened Pandora"s Box by doing GnR reactions. They have sooooo many songs that are loved by sooo many people your gonna get swamped. Prepare to cover the entire catalog. Your gonna love it for sure, but get yourself ready. Good luck buddy. Enjoy
Mann..this one brought me back to my teenage 80's feelings. My friends and I were soooo jealous of the women in this video, but we still couldn't stop watching it. Thank you for bringing those memories back, keep going please, I need to laugh at least once a day! :)
"Patience!!!"
As an 80's kid... GNR and Metallica will always have a special place in my ❤ 😁
I honestly can't choose a favorite between November Rain, Welcome to the jungle, Paradise City and Sweet child o' mine.
They are the big four from Guns N Roses songs
A friend of mine gave birth to this song, in the delivery room, smiling. Still makes me smile.💙🌿💚
"It's so easy" or "Mr. Brownstone" should be your next GnR reaction.
It's about his girlfriend, then wife, Erin Everly. She is the daughter of one of the Everly brothers.
They got divorced!
"Where do we go" was actually what they said when writing the song........so they incorporated it as nothing better came up.
When any song brings a smile to your face or maybe a tear to your eyes,
that means the singer and writer have done their job to leave a lasting
memory on your musical soul you will always remember So give them credit
where credit is due.
Sir! Every damn time you have me grinning like a fool as I watch. Love it
Saw guns n roses Live in the 90"s at the old Wembley Stadium in London before they renewed the Stadium.......they Literally Blew Me Away..... Best gig ever, guns n roses really pro, the energy in that stadium was off the charts. Good times. ❤
"Patience" and It's So Easy" are cool songs by GNR.
100% agree, 2 very epic choices there 😉
I keep asking lol maybe you can have better luck !!
1000% agree!
I've been asking for It's So Easy! The woman is Erin Everly.Daughter of one of the Everly Bros. She's in the It's So Easy vid! ruclips.net/video/FMbl1ntpIXQ/видео.html
And Mr Brownstone, Civil War, Knockin on Heavens Door, My Michelle ...etc.
She's got a smile that it seems to me
Reminds me of childhood memories
Where everything was as fresh as the bright blue sky ✌️
I don’t care when you react to “rocket queen” as long as you remember to do it man, i think the song could’ve been more popular if it wasn’t for the moans in the bridge, it wasn’t played enough on the radio because of them.
I love Rocket Queen! Adler’s drumming is on point!
Yes, my favorite GnR song!!!
The moans were actually Axl having seen with another band member's girlfriend
Yeah man, rocket queen for sure. Really the whole appetite album. That brought rock n roll back in 89 in my opinion
The song was a touch too long for radio at over 6 minutes as well
The one hit wonders of the 80's and early 90's are pretty great as well... Guns & Roses are always gonna be one of those top bands that are gonna get you in any kinda mood. They got for party and for romance! Man, folks don't make music like this anymore!!!
My favorite part of your reactions is when you show your goose bumps/chills on your arm when you’re really digging a song! 😂✌️ Love you bro!
Pickle skin!! 😂😂😂
Actually the best songs on Appetite were not the radio singles...largely because they were full of swear words and offensive language so they couldn't be played lol. Regardless, one of the top five rock albums ever
Mr Brownstone. Out to Get Me. You’re Crazy. Someone find me my leather pants!
Mr.Brownstone n Nighttrain 🥳🥳
Think About You had tons of single potential. I'm okay with it not being a single, though. That way it never got played-out.
Now a days we got WAP at the Grammys!!
Yeah GNR were rocking constantly in the 80s and 90s they are in a RnR hall of fame ...Probably one of the best rock band s of all time.
Ok your ready for Motley Crue. Dr feelgood
Naawww SHOUT AT THE DEVIL
Kick start my heart.
It's Mötley CrÜe
I love watching you react to the songs of my children's generation! I either had to love these songs or go crazy, I chose to love these songs as much as they did! Thank you for your reaction!
Their entire debut album was absolutely amazing and is on par with Van Halens debut and Back in Black
this song was come together from the band playing around. Slash started playing, the other member joining in. Axl was in the booth, he heard it. as they play, he wrote this song.
One of the most played songs on the radio when it was released. Everyone would imitate Axls little dance. 😆 😆 One of Slash, 's best riffs. OOOORIGHT 💪😆✌
Growing up on this I almost forgot how amazing this song was when I first watched it on MTV back when they played music videos, thanks for bringing me back to my similar reaction listening to that solo, power guitar riffs! Great reaction!
We need to go Dance With Mr Brownstone!!
Mr.Brownstone....MY ALL TIME FAVORITE G N R SONG
@@chrystiholt5273 That old man, he's a real m...,
Me too!
Gonna kick him on down the line!
The line "Where do we go?" was only supposed to be a placeholder until they could come up with something better. But it fit so well that they kept it. So you asking where do they go after the guitar solo is exactly what they were thinking. haha
Got to watch these guys live. Mr. Brownstone at the Ritz.
Man you don't have to show your goose bumps during the solo ... As we have all passed through that phase... Love your reactions
Guns n Roses - You could be mine!

It is so much fun to watch you hear these songs I grew up with for the first time and be blown away. Kick ass Mr Video.
He's singing to that girl with the wavy brown hair that walked by. That was his g/f, late wife, Erin Everly, daughter of Don Everly. Of the Everly Brothers. You know the song,'Wake Up Little Suzy'
The Most Dangerous Band in the World!🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Ha. My first thought was “Paul Shaffer and the World's Most Dangerous Band”... David Letterman’s show band. Obviously not the same. 🤣🤣🤣 Man, I’m old. 🤣🤣🤣 (and only a wee bit loopy right now.)
Probably the 2nd best reaction I've seen of yours. Good tribute to Axl, Slash and the boys.
“Andy and Alex” want to hook up with you and have you sing on some music! You have a good voice and should do it! Check out their reaction channel and hit them up!
That's so freakin awesome! He Definitely has a beautiful voice doesn't he.🎶💛✌

I haven’t heard him sing. Where can I hear him?
Loved watchin you rock out to one of my all time favorites!!! This was my old band's (Mad Hatters) go-to song to get a crowd pumped up, and our most fun song to play. Miss those times and those guys!!!
'Where do we go now' - - - 'You tell me'🤣😅 that was soooo funny. You honestly have the most entertaining reviews! Thanks for making it so fun and putting a smile on my face for a few minutes. Love all your GnR reviews. You rock. Keep smiling🤘🎸☺
You took me back to my teen years driving my 1979 Monte Carlo with spinner wheels and jamming to this song on ..... cassingle. Lol love it and your lighter salute at the end.
The end where he repeats himself he said they literally ran out of lyrics so just went with it
One of the reasons they are in my top 3. So much variety. Enjoy your videos, they put a big ole smile on my face. Thanks
You need to react to Dont Cry & Estranged by GNR! Their Absolute Masterpieces🔥✨
Slash working that guitar. He's the 🎸 king.
Here's a slow one for you. GNR Patience.

Guns N’ Roses - NighTrain (Album Version) great solo
Hmmmm, Axel Rose was the most BEAUTIFUL man in the world, but so very troubled.
Axl was indeed a beautiful man, but I've always thought Slash was irresistible, still do lol. In my eyes, he's the total package. Maybe I'm crazy, but oh well 😍
But, how do you know he was troubled? Maybe it was the other way around and he didn't agree with the "troubled" Music Industry and that'd make him an even more beautiful man in my eyes.
No way. Sebastian Bach!!
Exactly....he "was" a beautiful young man.....have you seen him lately ?
I had a mad crush on Duff McKagan ❤️🙌
Just love your GNR reaction! A true, gritty, hard rock and roll band and you are feeling it and you love it💜
Sweet Child is one of the best songs on this album. NIGHTTRAIN is another one!
Dude...dope. if you're ever at a bar or anywhere that has a jukebox olay this song. EVERYONE will start singing! Love it!
You should check out Phil Collins, I Don’t Care Anymore...think you’ll love it.
A definite 10/10 banger, that one.
This song....is heavy for me. If Phil only knew how this song helped me cope through life with an addicted mother. It helped me release so much resentment and anger , so afterwards I could forgive myself of that negativity...and forgive her and love her anyway....until the next time I needed the song, rinse, repeat.
In the 80's, most metal bands started with a hard hit song followed by "the power ballad."
"Patience" is a must bit also should check out "used to love her" think you would get a kick out of that song lol
Oh wow, I forgot about Used to love her! Great suggestion!!
It was written for his gf at the time, Erin Everly who's also in the video. So glad I got to see the original band in concert.
Guns N Roses Patience please
GNR has solid composition on so many of the songs on their first album, like this song ... just immaculate. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👍
Iron Maiden, Queensryche, and Halestorm are all great bands to dive into. Another Meatloaf song, It’s All Coming Back to Me is also a good choice.
Xoxo
There's something special about watching someone fall in love with the music you've listed to for years
“It’s so Easy”......you need to see it....you need to hear it.....you NEED TO KNOW......
You got me rollin again!!! You are absolutely hilarious and at the same time, right on with your takes. You're the best bro.
You’ve been coming through lately!!! I can’t help but constantly comment. Sorry 🤷🏻♀️❤️

Where do you get your energy to keep giving so much to us in your reacts? Always such a pleasure... joyful or funny like!! Appreciate!!
I didn't realize how much I liked this song. I sang the whole thing in an Axelesque tone. Huh. I guess since I haven't heard it in a while absence made the heart grow fonder or something. I can't tell what you're doing with that hat though. Is it Rastaman or pastry chef? 👨🏽🍳 Make up your mind. 😄
