You had a .54 time, but you reset😅
To prevent Unity bouncing I just use floating capsules, nothing really hard about using a raycast to detect collisions instead of the collider. This allows the creation of tensile strength to control the dampening of the actual collision.
In this case using the value on a particular ray for a specific wheel before determining if the wheel should pop off is best.
This also allows the developer to 100% control the bounce.
Moonbo you were about to get a 55.000 and then you reset right before the finish 😂

The "VOID" might be a cool theme.
How about traveling through the void. Multiple biomes that each enter into the void. Each entrance and exit is a checkpoint. The first biome is high above and each passing of the void will take you lower but each void track is above one another, kriss crossing with barrel rolls and loops, perhaps one lower sections loops around the one above. Until finally you see the light at the bottom... or fire if you wanna go there and that is finish.
While typing this out I could also see a track with only one checkpoint and from there you have to decide if you want to go up or down, where down is the hot place but much easier to get to and the top one is the place everyone wants to go in the end but is alot harder but will net you a much better time.
I love how enjoyable your tracks look, they are always very well made.

Someone needs to let TwoFace know that warped is part of the N. Sane Trilogy. The only original PlayStation Crash game that isn’t part of it is CTR
That conversation just made me nostalgic for Crash Bandicoot. Use to play the second one all the time.
The first CTR was best racing game ever made, in my opinion. The Nitro Fueled version by Beenox on PS4 includes redone tracks from the second game and is one of the best remakes ever done. Their DLC tracks gives me hope there might be more quality CTR is the future.
@@StageWatcher I played CTR a lot on PS1 (and Crash Bash). I got the remastered version when it came out and played it. I totally forgot how hard that game was. I have no idea how I got as far as I did back in the day. 😅😅😅
@@ericbonanno5214 Yeah, the cartoon style hides a deceptively hard skill curve. It's really satisfying to master, though. But if you're fine playing against bots, you can adjust the difficulty for any skill level. The tracks are designed to be very different depending on whether you're driving slow or full speed. Funny thing, I never realized there was anything special about blue fire or air braking when playing CTR as a kid. With the remaster, all these maps I had nostalgia for suddenly opened up a whole new layer as I learned what full speed actually meant.
Love the track Moombo. I'd love to see you build a Dapper level cheese track. I feel like no one would see it coming. (Well they might now 😂)

New Theme: Put everyone's name on a wheel (Kan, Kosmo, Dapper, Moonbo, and TwoFace) and then spin it. Whoevers name you get you have to build a track themed after them.

I've found that, for some reason, landing front wheels first can make you survive completely fine even from a drop at 215 speed straight down, but landing back wheels first on a slight downhill slope will make you lose wheels and/or crash
Really nice track Moonbo, great lighting, and I'm sure a welcome relief compared to Kosmo's cave track!

@@sorgii It's how you specify a timezone. UTC+2 is two hours ahead of UTC, so 9pm UTC+2 would be 8pm in UTC+1, and so on.
@@Tombsar idk utc zones so I’ve never seen that before. For me (I’m in America) it’s just est, central, mountain, and pacific. So I’ve just never learned how the others are done lol. Thanks for explaining tho

It would make sense if he lost all your speed earlier on in the track, but not immediately before the finish.
He had to use skill to reset before hitting the finish at a 55 flat. Is there such a thing as skills that make you worse? Obviously so, we just witnessed it.
