- Uninstalling a 2013 Hunter Adirondack & installing a 2022 Westinghouse Industrial Look.
After almost 3 years of good use, it's time for the Hunter Adirondack to take a break. I decided to take the industrial route with the new ceiling fan... or more accurately, """industrial!"""
Also, I'll remember to adjust the white balance settings for future videos. It was a fiasco in this one.

The longest time I had a fan up in my bedroom is still up! It’s a Green SMC UB42 it’s been installed since 2019
Nice! Must be a really good fan if it's been up for that long!
@@TheSuperFanMan well for air wise, it’s decent, but for the motor it’s noisy
FANtastic video! Very relaxing to watch
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :)
Fantastic video
Thanks! :)

Great video! Wished that you could have footage of assembling the down rod and stuff.
Thanks Matt! I definitely would’ve filmed the assembly of the downrod, but the Industrial Look comes with the downrod already put together and ready to hang straight out of the box.
Aww, I'm sad. I liked that Hunter ceiling fan with the light kit and the individual lamp shades as single lights, but if I were to find my own place and move out of my parents house, this would definitely be one of the ceiling fans that I would like to have them installed. This Hunter ceiling fan would definitely look good in the living room or the spare bedroom, the "sun room" or even the "Man cave" if I ever think of one. Aside from that, did you know or have seen a "socket fan"? It's a little light and a fan attached, they would look good for small spaces, they do sell them at Lowe's or Home Depot for $50 dollars, way cheaper than a average price for a ceiling fan, easy to install, but the downside is that it spins clockwise and there's no reverse option, though 🙂⛪️🙏✝️🤟👍.
I absolutely agree, the Adirondack has the perfect appearance for such locations!
Yes I’ve heard of the socket fans and seen them on store shelves. They certainly are cheaper than regular ceiling fans, but I still think they’re kind of expensive for what they are.
The dialogue at the start felt a lot like a Jordan U video, the Westinghouse looks good in here. Nice video!
Thanks! Jordan’s ceiling fan installation videos did inspire me a bit to make this video :)
That’s A Cool Fan.
Indeed! Definitely a very difference style for my room.
Maybe install a Canarm industrial or Envirofan gold line
Thinking about making it happen ;)
I bet this drastic change will be a bit too much to handle. I am sure it will take you some time to get used to the "Industrial" theme in your room.
Anyways though, it does look a bit oversized, considering you have installed 36" and 42" fans here previously. As typical with these fans, airflow is quite weak and the hum could become annoooooyyyiinngg!!!
Yeah it’s been a day and I still haven’t gotten used to it yet lol. The hum sure is getting annoying quickly though, especially because it’s a bedroom. You’re definitely right about the size; any fan above 44” is technically more than enough for my room size. 36” is a bit too small though.. like the Laguna I used to have in my room. 42” seems to be the sweet spot.
The rooms in my house are quite big, so most of my fans are 48". However, I do have a 36" Crompton HS in my living room.
Nice! 48” is usually a good happy medium of ceiling fan sizes.
Feels like the living room would have to be that one place where you need a fan bigger than 36”! :)
Well, you would be right if it wasn't for one detail. It's the fact the my 36" fan serves as a supplement to the main 48" ceiling fan in my living room! Lol.
Gotcha!
Great vid mate
Much appreciated!
What made you change that one Hunter Fan to a new one
I mainly just wanted to install something else so I could also enjoy other ceiling fans that I have lol. I really like the Adirondack but if I didn’t switch it out yesterday, I feel like I would leave it in my room for another year lol.
How do you not need a light on the industrial?
I have two LED bar lights on the wall (seen at 15:15 in the video) that can illuminate the entire room, so I can still enjoy a fan without a light kit!
i want a ceiling fan but because of my weight, i don't want to lose arms from stretching
and where's the commenters at
Some flush mount ceiling fans hang close to the ceiling, which would be good. Or portable fans work just fine too :)
Today's fact: Did you know that the Colossal Titan is the first power of the Titans and created by King Fritz, the Founding Titan?
Didn’t know that.
@@TheSuperFanMan Attack on Titan is my favorite Anime. What is your favorite Anime?
I don’t really watch anime. Nothing against it, but it’s just not my cup of tea.
@TheSuperFanMan That is Captain Levi for you. LOL
Me, did u see the eclipse?
Yes I did. Took a trip with my friends to see it.
Totality?
Of course!
I went to a Waco Texas.I got four and a half minutes
cool video but i dunno man seems to be a bit of a downgrade
Thanks! You’re definitely right, it is a downgrade. It’s only day 4 since I put the Westinghouse up and I’m already considering changing it out lol. The motor hum is really annoying at times.
These are some of the absolute worst fans in existence. I would absolutely change it. All you need to know is that their sales rep in my area does not consider their brand a priority. So yeah, they suck.
Totally fair, and I agree. Aesthetically it’s decent, but the performance is very disappointing. Definitely will change it out for something else soon.
@@TheSuperFanMan yeah, thats probably why they call it industrial look, or jax or whatever its called now
