Alfa Romeo Tonale is for now available with only one engine and powertrain - 1.5 eHybridy GSE FireFly 4-cylinder petrol engine with 130 or 160 HP. It is linked via 7-speed TCT dual transmission. There is as well mildhybrid system integrated to the transmission. Tonale is not available as manual :(
Design is phenomenal, suspension as well but it lacks power. Engine is too linear, no peak whatsoever. Tonale is more technological than ever before, probably the better choice for todays casual drivers. If you want sporty Alfa Romeo, go buy used Stelvio.
If you want amazing retro-looking instrument cluster, with modern infotainment. autonomous driving level 2 and breathtaking matrix LED lights, go for Tonale :)

This heavy SUV car shouldn't have a mini 130 hp engine. Even for old people he is too weak. It's not about top speed, but about powerful and swift overtaking manoeuvres. In short, it's about NM torque power.
