@@Black-nf3tx I can't wait to watch the next Top Gear video featuring this particular Jesko Attack, a Nevera, a Venom F5, and a Chiron. I don't think there will be a timed lap for each car, but a serious reviews and comparisons between each of them by Top Gear will be mega. Since the shooting was done in US, I hope Jethro was the one who reviewed them. Plus he already reviewed an Agera R before, so it will very interesting what he think about the Jesko Attack, and how it compares to the last gen Agera R.

Let’s put things into perspective. James’ audience consists mostly of people like my self who are enormously far from ever owning one. And we’re also cool if it never happens. Yet Christian finds time to include James in almost EVERYTHING, with unprecedented in depth access just for our viewing pleasure…. Says a lot about them both. Man Happy!

it's unbelievable how a twin-turbos V8 sounds like that from factory. Some of the upshifts also sound brutal, like a race car.

This is their first time on the track too they did only 3 laps with an engineer as the driver and broke the record give them multiple more laps and it’s in the 1:22s

Congratulations Christian and team, It has to be an incredible feeling to be apart of the development, production and support of such a technically superior machine, to walk into an icon, a legend like Laguna Seca with a car that is the same as all of the other Koenigsegg Jesko's with no difference, no race prep, same set up you would run to the super market and a race car driver who had never driven the course regardless of how talented he was and set a track record for quickest production car lap, with out any real test of the capabilities of Koenigsegg the team or machine, Outstanding!

The white car is the proper Ghost squadron car, coming out if the mist.
I watched Damons in car footage that he got, was fun firstly at points him looking scared and to see how the G forces really hit them on the crest etc. So thank you James for getting Damon a ride as a passenger so we could get a glimpse of what it's like to be in a car at that speed

Its amazing to see these beautiful machines so at home on the track as they are off of it. usually cars that run such high price tags and continually treated like babies with a once a year drive and a quick tunnel blast, so to see them being absolutely thrown round a track and actually taking records is awesome! well done CVK, well done!!

Love the “undressed/ naked” all white exterior. This was popular during early 2000’s but I’d like to see that come back. Certain car designs just don’t need the look-at-me colors.

Their Achilles' heel seems to have been off the line traction and lapping.
This record is cute, but I hope more it coming. That track was resurfaced last year, Indycar got 4-5 seconds a lap faster. That's huge. Makes it silly to compared to pre-resurfacing times pretty much. Off the line, K's have no excuse to not stay with the likes of 765 LT. RWD and more power than the rear tyres can handly. Cornering, with all that aero and sophistication, I expect K to outperform the likes of Porsche and AMG as well. Do they, though? I'm personally not convinced Koenigseggs get driven at F1 level when lapping, and I'm not (yet) convinced the engineers are at the level of Porsche/Ferrari/AMG, even the likes of Tesla (!) when prepping for time attack efforts. I hope I'm all wrong about that but then the onboards would convince me more. Braking seems soft, corner entry taking long, lots of lingering in corners and then eventually power get released. It just makes me as a laymen feel it's not exactly at its best yet, or doesn't get its neck wrung by the driver. Please please prove me wrong and lap Nordschleife, Motortrend Figure 8, Willow, etc, etc. The places where other brands take full teams to squeeze time from stock cars.
Totally agree. That Jesko still looks unsettled under braking. That's a massive time loss there. Not discrediting Marcus (the driver), but I believe if that car was driven by a proper professional racing driver, it will easily produce a quicker laps.

It was his first time driving on the track aswell. The car are doing fine in corners.
Don't be a fool. Koenigsegg is fast as hell. He has set or broken many records. They are easily as quick as 765LT out of the hole and are also WAY more reliable than anything McLaren has to offer. Build quality matters and Koenigsegg understands that. Last thing. Do you ever see the CEO of Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini just hanging out at the track talking to car people? Not like Koenigsegg does. He builds NASA quality rockets and shows up at a track with a few of em for your investigation. Nice, laid-back, passionate, quality engineering and high quality control are Koenigsegg all day.
