Good driving! Good instruction too. It's my first time at brands in a couple of weeks and this is really useful. Interesting to see how tight the track is, there aren't many easy overtakes for slower traffic.
@@jameswilson461 ah ok, sorry, I’m going this Saturday just thought with your recent comment you might be looking for help and tips too. Great video though. 👍🏼
How much track experience on Brands/other circuits did you have prior to this tuition? Your driving looked really solid as soon as you got to your first lap without traffic, so I'm wondering do you actually feel like you learned anything from him? His instruction was great and detailed but I'm sat here wondering if you needed it or not
Rob Driver That's the first time I've ever had any track tuition, I think it was my 2nd track evening session, had a few taster sessions before. I've driven round Nurburgring but not pushing at all. I put up the video as I couldn't find any brands hatch tuition videos, so people can see what it involves, thanks for the feedback. This being my daily car I have to keep it road friendly!! I've done a few minor upgrades over the winter and doing another track day evening session on the 25th April. I consistently get around 57.5/58 seconds a lap, I'm hoping to shave off a second.
Also I did still think I had learned from him, he gave me little tips I didn't know before hand, for instance on the straight to stay close to the pit lane.
matt c Yeah thanks for putting up the video, it's a great insight. Yeah tbf when I drove round Brands in July on my first Trackday I didn't know about staying on the inside on the pit straight either as little things like that aren't so obvious I guess. Thanks for replying, it's good to know your situation and why you got tuition.
I know this voice!!! Longer time ago he did lessons and tips for indoor karting! He was the first real one I found on youtube. Thank you.
Excellent driving and video, thanks for posting
Great driving and good instruction. You have helped prepare me for taking my 200 round thanks!

Who is that instructing? He was there in around 2012 quite a good instructor.
Cannot remember his name. He was great, first time I had used an instructor.
