This ended a tad too soon. If her ex husband is facing CRIMINAL charges for paying his accomplice to attack his wife so that he can "rescue" her then she might have SUING rights on him. Even if the statute of limitations expired for CRIMINAL prosecution CIVIL court has different rules so even if he cannot be prosecuted for having her attacked she might be able to sue him for compensation AND there might be a MARRIAGE FRAUD lawsuit since the "romance" started with him committing a crime against her. Paying or ordering another person to attack someone is a crime in itself even if you do not physically touch the person.
