I love it when I come across videos without any useless banter, requests to visit sponsors or lots of dead space content that you have to skip. Excellent resource for even experienced carpenters like myself. Learnt some new techniques! 🤓
You always have solutions to problems, using the straight edge to clamp the middle pieces to make it all in the same plane is a smart move. Eliminates the need for spacers for the middle pieces.
You do nice work. You should consider adding the word “Extrusion “ to your RUclips channel name. Doing so would allow many more people to find your channel.
This is first time see your videos (I already saw them all) and find you very smart the way you work and figure the best solution for your work space, tell me how do I get your designs for all the project you have I live in Canada and spring is around the corner
Hi thank you for watching. Hope you enjoyed. u can already get the designs on my website. thealuminumcarpenter.sg 😀 im already working on more designs. 😀
Hi, it’s been long. I remembered you liked our aluminum designs. There’s a lot of new ones. We finally made our precision jigs available for purchase. Please take time to drop by our website thealuminumcarpenter.com
Good question! because i knew i will be building super large things, like greenhouses, fishtank racks, etc on top of it, and i need the table not to flex.
Thanks for spending time watching! I believe U can find all the parts online from ur local suppliers easily. When i designed the product and video, i made sure there were no custom parts at all so everyone can follow.
Great job on this build - very well done. Can I ask what part number/name of the end plate caps? I've searched "end plates", "joining plates", etc. but I can't find the plates that have the countersunk spots for the hardware bolt. Thanks, and keep up the good work.
There are many pieces, but if you need the table exact size, it is 1036mm*780mm*780mm, excluding the MDF Table Top Plate, which is 18mm thick, and without the casters.
Hi Ben, different country has different suppliers/distributors. You can easily get them through your locals. Depending on where you are located, you should get different profiles. Despite that, we are midway building our site to supply these materials worldwide. You may still obtain the 3d files from our website already.
Slide T-Nuts are those that u will need to insert beforehand, but these took too much planning before assembly. Its easier to use Ball-Spring T-Nuts or Hammerhead T-Nuts which are post-install types. My newer videos shows usage of all the posts. Hope this helps 😀
@@TheAluminumCarpenter to be honest, I don’t love it but it also doesn’t bother me. I’ve studied communication extensively and I get really distracted by people that have certain speech patterns (like upward connotation at the end of each phrase). The robot makes me feel like it’s more universal/global and perhaps if you’re not comfortable speaking, it’s a better option. But it does remove some of the personality out of it, so disconnects us from you much more than hearing your voice.
That’s genius to shorten the end capped extrusions by the end cap plate thickness to allow them to sit flush
Thank u. More variations to come in the upcoming videos. Pls be patient. Its takes a lot of time to get one video out.

Thank you KC 😀 more videos coming up!
Well thought out design.
Thank you!

Great design! Why did you use the 1x2 instead if the 1x1 for the main frame?
Good question! because i knew i will be building super large things, like greenhouses, fishtank racks, etc on top of it, and i need the table not to flex.
I really enjoyed the video and I am considering building one for my shop. Could you give me some estimate of the material cost to build this?
Thank you. Its in the range of $600 to $800 for me in my country. I will not be sure abt your location’s prices.
Who did you buy all of the aluminum parts from? Thanks for showing the build! I enjoyed it!

I get all of mine from Parco Inc. Best prices I can find for USA Made T-Slotted Aluminum
What material is it that you are using for your tabletop? It looks good!
Buddy, It is coloured MDF. Way denser than normal MDF, way more water resistant than normal MDF, but still will need sealing. I used 18mm thickness.
@@TheAluminumCarpenter That's great, thanks for the info! Keep up the good work!!
Thanks buddy! Let me know if you have anything you want to see me build! But let me finish off my upcoming 20 more video ideas first, cheers!

“4080 aluminum end cap”. Use this reference to search. Btw, thank you 😀
What sizes are the extrusion?
these are 4080 profile.
@@TheAluminumCarpenter ah i see & length of them? I wanna replicate it with the circular saw system from your workbench with MFT

What are these caster called with the angle mounting plates?
hey man! you really have nice video! what software do you use to design and model your project ?
Hey budddy 🤜 for this video you watched, i used sketchup as the software, but for my more recent videos, its using shapr3d.
@@TheAluminumCarpenter Thank you. Thought there was a program specifically for using aluminium extrusion. but good to know thanks!
Ya actually there is, but due to many reasons, its not suitable for my case. The limitations of those softwares limits my creativity, therefore…
What are the casters with the triangular mounting plates called or where did you purchase them?
Purchased from china 😉
What material are you using for the top surface?
Its colored MDF
You’re not going to tell us where you got those aluminum extrusions from?

What kind of hardware were you using that didn’t require the nuts to be inserted into every track prior to build?

@@TheAluminumCarpenter it really does and exactly what I was looking to know. Thanks! Love your work, btw!
Great! Thanks for the love for my contents 😀 may i hear your thoughts on the AI narrator voice in the videos? Im torn between should i use it or not.

Appreciate your advice and opinion. I’ll seek a solution… 😀 meantime, the next video is coming in a few days. Am in the editing stage now. 😀
Also another ideal for ur gd
Thank you
$2000+ I wanted one too.
Yep. Its a durable product.
I can't find any suppliers (US) selling those nice aluminum end caps. If anyone knows of a source let me know, all I can find are plastic.
pls contact us via our website. we do carry them, though not listed yet.
4080 is a bit too strong for this build, no? Very nice though.
Its to remain consistent with the rest of the workshop furniture, if you watched the other videos, you’ll understand
