Thank you for this great instructional! I hope to try this next year. I grew sweet corn last year and the wild life got to them before I did so I was reluctant to try again this year. I’m not sure if it was the birds, voles or bugs but I didn’t have one stalk of corn that was left uneaten. Maybe next year I will get a garden cat. Lol.
I'd love to can but I never know what my as you said latitude would be for me? How do u figure that out for canning? Thanks for sharing this great video. So glad to see you. By the way still no cucumbers lots of flowers and and vines. But I will have tons of tomatoes to harvest just from drop off from last season in my raised garden beds. Anyway that you can do a video on how to can tomatoes for pasta or salads. Or show many different types of ways that you can store tomatoes to eat for later? Much appreciate all of your help. You can just Google your altitude and on the nchfp.uga.edu I believe there is a chart for how many minutes to add. And Yaya tomatoes!! I don't have a ton yet to be able to do a video BUT I have a ton of recipes on my channel in the canning Playlist for tomatoes. And some years my cucumbers will take forever, I hope you can get some soon!
