Two classic issues. I read about the Neanderthal flower burial probably in the 1960's in a series of science books my parents got me. It was memorable. Fuzz thanks for clarifying the new findings. Hugh, like Fuzz I had been running across videos that the James Webb finding just disproved the big bang model. Your explanation was much better, made perfect sense and I now know there are dozens of big bang models. I have trusted you guys for a long time to provide careful well thought out science material--even if it appears to conflict with your models. Your level of integrity and honesty is a testimony to the Holy Spirit's working in good Christian men. Love you guys and may God bless you and your ministry.
Part 2 (Stars portion and the space telescopes), to Fuz's point about it's amazing what we humans have been able to do, YES so much of that (Imago Dei) vs. Neanderthal and other hominids (or any other animal species for that matter) but also now more than EVER do we see that truly the "Heavens declare the glory of God".
There’s quite a broad suite of evidence besides the flower burial that indicates the presence of symbolic thought in Neanderthal. Most recently, a preponderance was observed in the number flight feathers of specific species of birds in Neanderthal sites. This is being interpreted as another probable indication of ritual behavior, specifically adornment. In fact, there are some sites which appear in the more recent end of the Neanderthal timeline which have revealed the production of pitch adhesive. If you haven’t looked into the process behind this, you should. It will really change the way you’re viewing Neanderthal’s technological potential. Additionally, models have shown that without the ability to create fitted clothing which covered 97% of the body, Neanderthal wouldn’t have survived in the far-northern and high altitude environments that we know they successfully inhabited for tens of thousands of years. Fun fact: the clothing mite has had its genetics traced back at least 70,000 years, so we can at least surmise that clothing has existed as a ubiquitous practice in our own species since long before the dispersal of modern humans into Europe and Eurasia, the indicated hot spots of human-Neanderthal interactions. Even if you want to say that they learned from our ancestors, which they almost certainly didn’t, they still had ample time to learn from modern humans. While no evidence has been found of any kind of eyed needle development, the basic requirements for garment construction are fabric (skins), a poker of some kind (awl), and some kind of string (sinew, plant cordage, animal fibers, etc). I agree that calling this a “flower burial,” was always spurious at best. But I would underline what Dr Ross mentioned about burial being a phenomenon seen in a handful of species besides humans, and that there is any kind of SPIRITUAL component to such a practice is not in any way clear or even indicated. I also agree that they weren’t really JUST like us. But I do not believe that they were completely different or incapable of any symbolic thought whatsoever. For example, I suspect that their capacity for language, innovation, and complex social interactions weren’t as highly developed as ours. I have a personal suspicion about cave art that the humans who dispersed out of Africa were so highly successful because they were using a commonly understood system of pictorial proto-writing, which they were using to mark their territories with the most important local events in terms of which prey species were present and when, when they’re most vulnerable, what risks existed in the area, etc. A study came out about six months ago that showed strong evidence which suggests that, in the famous cave paintings of France and Spain, the small dashes next to the animals were actually an early written dating system meant to inform the reader of in what lunar months the animals were in the area, and when they would be breeding. Having these kinds of informational caches available for subsequent, literate groups would have provided a crucial advantage to their survival and would explain the population explosion and extreme success of our species’ global dispersal. But, I digress. Haha
I'm not sure when those neanderthals were buried, but maybe some were buried by humans. Like burying a friend or a pet. It's just a guess. Thanks for the good work you do.
Please post your sources from high school proposing that modern Homo Sapiens and Neanderthals anatomically and behaviorally were identical. If there were no differences, wouldn't we simply be calling Neanderthals Homo Sapiens? Please include how you are informed of homo Sapien spiritual behavior forty thousand years ago. Thanks in advance for your clarification.
That was a good paper, I read it after the video. Looking at the pictures of the caves I wondered whether or not bees ever burrow underground in caves. I found no reference online either for or against that concept, so perhaps they're correct. I saw another headline today which challenged the beginning part of your video though: "An Indigenous people in the Philippines have the most Denisovan DNA Indigenous Ayta Magbukon people get 5 percent of their DNA from the mysterious ancient hominids" Another piece of the puzzle has been supplied by French archaeologist Laëtitia Demay who in Moldova found the remains of a 44,000 shelter built with mammoth bones by Neandertal. I think within our children's lifetime the idea of who is or is not "human" will be drastically revised. The one marker we though was immutable, interbreeding, has been overturned and our metrics themselves may be problematic.

My 23 and me DNA test they say I have a high amount of Neanderthal DNA. I am having a hard time wrapping my head around this and what you show here. Am I not a God created human?
As I understand it, Adam and Eve were directly created by God. Since then lots of things have happened to the human genome, including introduction of some Neanderthal DNA through interbreeding. That doesn't make us less human, or take away God's intentionality in His design of you.
They talked about this in earlier videos. They didn't come to definite conclusions, but one possibility is that humans had intercourse with Neanderthals. (Sounds like degenerates, but there are people who would do that.) There was an overlap in the existence of humans and Neaderthals. I think there was speculation that there could be contamination in DNA studies, too.
No one has a high amount of Neandertal DNA. If you come from isolated parts of Africa or southeast Asia you might max out at about 9%. Otherwise you almost certainly have less than 4%
Is the source of the Big Bang, directional that we can point to? Relative to the plane of the Milky Way, is this a point we can point at? Like oh, it's in the direction of the Big Dipper.
The problem is Devil runs the world. He is lier and murderer. That's why we've got the Gospel about the God's kingdom. Jehovah would put everything in order. :-)
Awesome!! Whish we could get the new evidence into our schools!

Is it true that the L2 location may have material there that hits the JWST and damages it? Thanks.

Indeed Luther did not nail his 95 theses to the door, his students did. He was appalled and angry with them for their action.

So what does this mean were Neanderthals human are they made in gods image or were they from evolution
To God be the glory.
Is it possible the neanderthal simply died in a fetal position and wasn't buried at all?

@@jcthomas3408 Why would Neandertal and Home Sapien breeding together be "degenerate"?

@@ji8044 Because Neanderthal is not human. It would be beastiality.
