This vlog is about my travel experience of Doha Qatar which is hosting the first ever FIFA world cup in Middle East. I stayed in tent city built for football fans coming from all around the world.

Abrar bhai, Usually places and events like these are known for overpricing , it is no surprise. If I see these tents , their installation , running the water and sewerage there and electricity and then their cleaning ; all these are just for few days and yes they have to make money on top of it else it is of no use. If you go to a movie theater in Pakistan ,a cola cost you 4 times high inside the theater as compare to outside. I see your point but again it is of no surprise !take care

From the comments I learned that this tent accommodation is not by the govt but a private company of the island… the fact that beer was available here seems to prove that. And it altogether seemed very different from the rest .
All accommodation contracts are given to different companies but at the end of the it is responsibility of the Govt to see the arrangements

They repeated the same mistakes of Asian games 2006. Wrong people were on positions at time of planning, Core professionals are hired late. Many projects remained incomplete, even few stadiums are yet not fully handed over by contractors.😬

By far the best experience we had of our journey in Qatar was from this fan village.
Abrar bhai in this video u have said 207$ per night every 30 seconds at an average 😀👍🏻. I am sure u are experiencing max money spent in Qatar with less value for money. Ap ke dil se nikal raha hai bar bar 207$ per night 😄. May be this spend record will break in Japan if u plan to go. Will love to see someday your far east tour. Love from karachi.
207$ is quite ok but my issue has been with this particular place only. I paid same price for a night in Cabins and those are excellent but I can't say the same for this place unfortunately. If I lie someone come stay here and he will be disappointed that I misguided him/her.
bhai in US you get full good room full of all the luxury for 1 10 to 150 USD if you go over board with view from the room and all then you might spend 200 usd personal experience

I think this Qatar football cup has become the most successful tournament ever by FIFA.All of a sudden every one wishes to be the part of this event.These tents are seems to be a emergency accommodation.
Emergency tents should be priced accordingly regardless...unfortunately 207 dollars is not right!

The only problem in this world cup was accommodation, I paid 300-400$ per night in hotels , demand and supply rule was full in charge 😂

To be honest, I feel it was a bad idea to do fifa world cup in this country because they spent $300 billions and still could not give rights to the labour class where a lot of people suffered and died and they could not give good quality of accommodations and prices are too high and its too hot there. People do not seem to be having fun there.
Constructive criticism:
It was enough to say that, Ten fan village charges are very high but service you get in return is very low. They should decrease the charges. that's it but going extreme and using word "Ghatiya" wasn't suitable for a wise man like you.

BROOOOO, what are you talking about?? Covid camps built for workers/ labors (1800 riyal for 14 nights) were far better than this accommodation.

There are different types some are good some are bad this is probably a project outsourced to private people so it depends on private management, like his previous video on cabins seems pretty convenient

$207/night min. 2 nights with no a/c, walk to shared toilet facilities is a scam. Your comments carry more weight as you compare facilities from your camping experiences in Switzerland. Thanks for an informative review of Tent City...I suppose organisers think no one will complain as they can buy beer here.
