  • Resident locomotives, Peckett & Sons Works 0-6-0ST No. 1940 'Henbury' and Avonside Engine Co Works 0-6-0ST No 1764 (34) 'Portbury' seen hauling passengers trains in top and tail mode between M Shed and SS Great Britain at the Bristol Harbour Railway on 18th April 2022.
Very soon Portbury will be coming out of traffic for it's 10 years overhaul, so this could of been it's final time running for now!

Always impresses me how many people are willing to stand/Ride in front of moving trains. Nice video, haven't been able to go see this running for years :)

Thanks, Yep it amazes me how people just wonder there's days.

Very good. It's always amazed me how Liverpool has not managed to replicate this. Its once very extensive port railway is all but forgotten sadly.

Thanks Tony, true shame more harbours don't have steam trains running. I haven't visited Liverpool so don't know if they still have the old line or not.

Thanks Alex, it's been a long time waiting to visit Bristol Harbour Railway again, as last visit was 7 years ago.
