@@ronaldezzSeth had the highest score of the year. Not sure what you’re talking about. Jacks off the lip on a solid set was by far the best move and most difficult of the heat.
I am as patriotic as the next Aussie but Seth Moniz was completely and utterly ripped off in that semi final. The two main reasons, totally under scored on the wave that he got 4.6 or something. 4 very good turns and hits and only gets this then Jack does 2 fairly average turns and gets a 7!!. It was a 5 at best. Seth's last wave, almost on the bell and would have won the semi was at least a 8.2. Taj almost said as much in commentary but thought better of it!. It's obvious the WSL wanted a Jack Robinson vs John John Florence final. Competitive surfing is littered with bad decisions and this is a trait that continues with the WSL which, lets face it, is big business wanting the biggest audience it can garner. If anyone thinks the judges aren't influenced by their WSL bosses then they are living in dreamland. Watch how the head judge moves around the judging platform and 'encourages' the 'correct' score. Disgraceful!
You should be doing the commentary. Spot on! Seth was totally underscored twice! Jack is one of my favorite surfers, but he shouldn’t have advanced in the previous round either. The WSL is all about trying to lift their own ratings and interest. But, you lose fans when they get sick of biased judging.
Jere we go again The Hawaiians underscored do you see a trend??? WSL already called it so Jack & JJF in Finals only to underscore another pounding athlete c'mon that Wave Seth blew up!!! Is obvious the Bias sooo unfortunate
Jack won cause he got the best waves and didn’t fall on the end sections, hate to be captain obvious but seems the Seth crew in chat aren’t aware of that 😂
Today was excellence from Jack, Jordy, JohnJohn, Imaikalani, Samuel, Seth, George & Gabriel , thanks guys, WSL camera crew, & the Antarctic 'Ocean for A great show.. finallllly, in great waves.... hope cloudbreak is fullof awesomeness for the men & later.... 8ft clean & managable for the lighter weight devisions
Seth completely underscored.
Agreed
That last wave he had was better than both of Jack's 7's.
Judging is getting worse.
Seth had a lot of open face turns. When you go vertical into an 8ft lip that is a high level of difficulty. Definitely the best move of the heat.

Nope obviously you don't surf,,, try to hit an 8' lip that breaks,,, that level,, others break their foot,boards,...
Seth was on fire
Shows that wave size really matters at the MR event. Jack got the nod by catching the biggest ones and shredding them too
That could’ve easily gone to Seth. Jack got the hometown nod.
Seth got robboed

I appreciate our Aussie friends who also see the BS
Forgot wave size...jacks waves were way bigger
SETH WON THIS HEAT........
Another heat, another robbery for Jack Robinson. This is bs, shame WSL
Fr seth robberd
Seth outperformed, he had that heat. Too bad, should go to final. Keep it up Seth
The whole event the judges paid wave size and risky manoeuvres in critical sections. To tgose who say Seth and JJF got robbed, cry is free.
what jack has done to get 7 and 7.33 ??????????????
Ah well he caught the two biggest waves of the heat and did you see his first manoeuvre?
Seth gave a a lesson to wsl and jack robinson.

jack won purely from wave height. Seth surfed better
Last wave of Seth was the best surfed wave of the heat and the score reflects it, but it wasn’t as big as jack’s waves
@@maxjosephson1247 Seth's last wave should have been at least a 8.3. Taj almost said it but thought better of it!

Jack got 7 for trash turns

@@surfer.collin760 you must be watching a different inter web broadcast

Low scoring for both guys.surfing was the winner
Seth should ride a Arakawa 😂
