I love natural wood. Here in the pacific northwest where I live, I go into antique shops and find antique furniture that they have chalk painted. It isn't my cup of tea. I guess I am not hip with the times. Please forgive my rant. I love your tea cup. My mom collected tea cups. Your idea with the magnet board was fantastic and much cheaper than buying magnet boards. Friends of the Library book sales are amazing! I have a few of the books you were able to get...the 2001 motifs book has come in handy many times to create small gifts! The wooden house shaped display is wonderful. I would probably not paint it, but if you want to lighten it up so your items are easier to see, you can cut pieces of scrapbooking paper or fabric scraps to put on the back of some of the cells (wedge it in or put a loop of tape on the back. Hi! I record my videos on my Samsung Android phone. I started off copying my videos to my laptop, then editing my videos using Wondershare Filmora 9. It let me add music, type text, insert pictures, etc. But the last few FlossTubes I made, I edited and uploaded to RUclips from my phone.
When I pull up the video on my phone (to view it), there is an edit option. I can delete portions of the video or add text. I can film different video segments and add them together in whatever order I want. I'm sure there is more I can do there, but that is what I have figured out so far. LOL
Oh! And I've learned to pose for a regular photo, to use for the RUclips thumbnail picture, instead of letting RUclips create a photo from somewhere in the video.
My, oh my...you get so much done!
    Happy stitching!

Love your hair, your new glasses...and your shirt! The first cross-stitch book you held up that you bought at the book sale - love, love, love the barn picture on the front. Thought I would see if I could find a copy and one is listed on Ebay for $20! You got a good deal on those books. Take Care!

Your so interesting and talented! Just noticed the picture on the wall behind you and is it a Hardanger piece? So many patterns, wish I could stitch faster. Thanks for all your sharing. Enjoy your week!

I think what you saw was a filet crochet of our last name. My daughter gave it to me years ago.

Thanks for sharing all of your stitchy goodies and stitching. You do such beautiful work. Just an aside - you might already be aware of this, but your video was literally filled with ads this time - at least a dozen of them. I've not noticed this many before, and have no idea if there's anything you can do about this, but wanted to let you know. Thx again. Steph

I was so happy to find you today! You're "right down the road" from me. I'm in Columbia, MO. Are you going to the Needlework Galleria in St Charles at the end of September? I've never been, but plan to go for one day this year just to shop and snoop. Ha!

If you stitch down the label and used a Frixion pen you could just erase the project name with an iron

Hello again Deana. I have ordered the Santa's Village. Haven't decided on fabric. Can you please tell me what fabric you are using?. How many stitches between each house? Any tips you can remember that will save me time not doing the math ? Thank you again. You have enabled me. I must stitch the Santa village.......Pam

Hi Pamela, sorry I'm just now getting back to you about Santa's Village. I either was busy or kept forgetting. I pulled mine out and the fabric I used 36ct./ 18 ct aida. Each design on a row buts up to the previous design. (The snow touches the previous snow. There are 2 blank rows between the greenery and before stitching the red and white top border. You can email me if this doesn't make since. Then I can send you a picture.
