    A very good looking, easy to follow, tutorial. I especially like the stabilizing rings on the sides. Hope to see more tutorials by Lisa.

    Hi Lisa....I love the stabilized elf weave and you show how to do it so clearly. Your tutorials are great! Thank you so much for sharing your talent. :)

    It has been a while since I played with my maille, but seeing your tutorials has awakened the spark again. Very, very clear instructions, visually and spoken, and I really like how simple you've made these weaves for me. I really wasn't interested in the Elf Weave until I saw these videos. I hope to see more from you!

    Thank you for making this! I love Elf, but I hated how it clumped. Now I have a new favorite weave. You're awesome. :) Spinal Elf for the win!

    I loved this tutorial! Super helpful.
    You said this tutorial was one ring at a time (oraat). I was wondering if there is a faster way to do this weave, maybe doing multiple rings at a time? Do you have a tutorial on that?

    Nice Weave 😄😄 where do you buy your rings? Love them.. Nice shiny colors.. saw cut???

      joyce theunissen I get almost all of my rings at Metal Designz and The Ring Lord. Metal Designz has been adding some really great colors to their shop too. I like working in saw cut the best.

      I love TheRingLord.com. You can also peruse Amazon for an occasional deal. The Ring Lord also has discount grab bags with incredible deals as long as you don’t mind taking on a few random pieces to get it. I think of them as cool things for experimenting!

    I watched this video, now i think I am ready to try it, got a question? Can a crystal be woven in to this with the stabilization rings?

    Thank you! I finally learned the weave today and was having trouble with it keeping form. Have you tried persian dragonback in 20g for a ring yet?

    Great video i saw this weave online and wanted to give it a go. What do you consider an advanced weave?
    Also the pliers you use? are they worth the investment?

    • @lisaellis11
      @lisaellis11  7 лет назад +2

      Michael Price thank you. I'm glad the tutorial was helpful :) I love my pliers, definitely two thumbs up! Even better I just got some new Tronex 747's, the stubby flat nose, and they're even more amazing. Worth every penny. When I got my Tronex my skill level went up and my hand strain went down :) It's hard for me too define an advanced weave, it differs from person to person I think. Moorish Rose , Hoodoo Hex and Voodoo Sheet for example were really hard for me, but they might not be for you. Don't let someone tell you you can't do a weave. Worse thing that happens is we waste a few rings :)

      Investing in better quality tools is always worth it! No I don’t sell them 😁.

    -when doing your edging, you should have shown it from where we stopped . because your chain was already done. and it was hard to see how you did it . I didn't get it.

    You make this look so easy!!! But I'm just not getting it. Totally me, not your tutorial. I'm just missing something. (I'm very, very left-handed so sometimes takes me a little longer to flip it all in my brain.) Eventually I will get it, but getting to frustrated to keep going tonight.

    OK I have tried it and it is impossible. I have not gotten past the tape bit. I have tried two different kinds of tape and they either don't hold or just generally ineffectual. I have made advanced weaves and this is not easy. Not sure if I will continue with it.
