A few tips from me: Understand the question and answer to the point. Only give additional information if asked for it.
If you didn't hear questions properly, ask VO to repeat them. That is totally fine. I did that, too.
About the last study: Try to avoid mentioning marks, but a valuable addon is to mention the course name.
About Gap: Stay calm and avoid talking about culture. Make the best story out of it as much as you can, and it should connect to all the answers you are giving. Also, avoid long explanations. Make it a maximum of two short statements.
What your husband do: Do not mention earnings unless VO asked for it. Just mention the profession.
Where is he living?: Mention like this He is living with me, city and state rather than just country name.
What can you expect?
You could mostly get questions around your previous interview.
Your intent should be very clear about studies.
Very important: Make a story centered around your intent for doing the particular course you are going for. Make sure everything is connected.

You can change embassy. I gave interview in two different embassy.
Even if you gave interview same embassy and you got same VO, you've right to ask to change VO at the time.

Hii bro, I got refused June 28th 2024 from Delhi, again I'm going to give the interview from Hyderabad consulate on August 7th this month.

Can I say this, officer there have been no chages to my profile since my last application. The only update are that I have submitted a new ds-160 form and have included details about my previous visa refrusal.
Do not say, " There have been no changes to my profile. " Instead start with I updated the details in my DS 160 form and added details about my previous visa refusal.

@@kuldeeptanwar2897 Please don't worry. Fill out a new DS160, and once your current case gets closed, apply for a new visa slot. There are chances that you may not get an appointment this fall, and you might need to defer admission to the spring. Getting a refusal slot is very difficult.
This is my condition as well, my visa rejected on 15th July and my program starts on 19th August, the only thing we can do it go for spring intake or completely change the plan.
19th August, meaning you still have one month in hand. Try to get a visa appointment. You can still make it.
I gave my interview on 21st August and flew on 31st August.
However best option is to defer admission for spring.

Later on I looked for visa slot for interview. While finding visa slots, I started preparing for interview with revised answers.

I got refused 11 december 2023. I got an appointment 29 October 2024. should I fill out new DS-160? but in my new appointment confirmation has old DS-160 Confirmation Number. what should i do now?
You need to fill out a new DS-160. Check if you can update the DS-160 number on the portal. Otherwise, during biometrics, you need to ask them to update it accordingly.

Muje ik question pushna hai.. my interview was in January this year but rejected and now i m going in August...with changes like in university but with same course but with unique subject structure and now university offers scholarship 20400usd,
Secondly, my designation also upgraded.. from associate lawyer to legal manager at same law firm. Salary also increased. And law firm is providing me sabbatical leave for two years.. future plan open my own law firm.

Yes, for sure. These changes are excellent. However, I would suggest avoiding saying that the law firm is providing leave. Instead, try to show how much education is essential at this stage of your career.

I got rejected the second time even without asking questions in the hydrabad embassy they were rejecting students only after asking why ths university or age...

Getting a refusal slot is very much tricky. You need to monitor slots using browser extensions like - checkvisaslots.com/

Brother, it's very tough to talk about the university, and I'm not even sure what questions are being asked at the Mumbai consulate right now. You can find many videos on RUclips about this.
However, what I'll advise is to make sure that your story is right. Don't be nervous because you are doing a master's to get the best education in the world, and you should stick to it. Mention the names of the professor if they ask why you chose this specific university.
Also don't rush while giving answers, be calm and give answers clearly.

I don't think so university is the issue. Doesn't seem like red flag on university.

Officer I am unsure why my visa was rejected maybe I fumbled and could not understand the officer questions. I was stuttering quite a lot of out of nervousness.

Officer, I have upgraded on my personal attributes & has gained new technical skills in my area as I have recently attended training session where I learned different technics of distributed control system and improving products in the production department.

Can you share your opinion on CSUSB university I going to this university for cs program.
For fall 2024, its going to be very difficult to get refusal slots because it's almost ending. You need to try for Spring 2025. There will be more slots after September/October.
About CSUSB, it's a good university. No Red flags at all.
I will suggest getting good counseling as you got rejected twice.
Hey , actually i got rejected in delhi consulate on 9th of july ,2024
Actually i did not hear the vo clearly even i did not listen the documents he asked to me .He repeated it two -3 times and again other question why this school same not listened then he repeated it again and after that with two questions same happened after that the last question qhat have you done after your senior secondary i just told him about that i had done diploma in digital marketing. Due to nervousness i could not tell him that i have given english proficiency test , got defer and all .And , i got rejected under 214 b actually the visa officer got impatient at that time while repeating the same questions .he was in his late 40 s .

You don't need to say you've taken an English proficiency test; it is already assumed. You need to understand the question asked by VO, so be very attentive while he asks it. Then, you just need to answer so that he will understand.
Keep it very simple as a conversation. Forget that it is an interview. Think like you are talking to your new friend. You must often work on mock interviews so you won't be nervous again in the following interview. Ask family/friends to conduct your mock interview.

In DS160, there was the question: Have you ever been refused a U.S. Visa, or been refused admission to the United States, or withdrawn your application for admission at the port of entry?
And below that there is another question saying explain: In the explanation I've just added that MY F1 VISA HAS BEED REFUSED ON 7TH ON JULY 2023.
Just keep in mind that: The reason for rejection was not explicitly stated, and we are not in a position to provide a definitive answer. However, if the VISA officer asks you about you can just say that since it was your first interview you were nervous and unable to answer properly but now you are confident.

2. Highlight any unique features of the new university (specialized programs, facilities, internships) that cater to your specific interests.
3. Show that you've thoroughly researched the new university and its surroundings.
4. Mention any communication you've had with faculty or current students at the new university, demonstrating your commitment and preparation.

I got rejection yesterday..and visa officer give reason that my BA subjects are not relevant to my MBA even i told that i have 4 year work experience. And i20 to..she said make some changes... what to do? From 26 of august my classes will start😢
First! For now, please forget about rejection. Your first priority should be getting another appointment, as your classes start on August 26. Don't worry, you may get a late arrival letter from the university.
2nd thing - You are lucky that the Visa officer told you this. Very few get rejection reasons. How does the interviewer know which BA subjects you studied in the past?

The ranking is excellent, and the cost of living is very affordable.

Rankings wise it's not good. However I'm seeing many students got visa for this university so It is not a blacklisted university.

It all depends on what you want. My first criterion is what course I want to take, and my second is about faculty.
For example, I chose Yeshiva University because of its Faculty. I'm taking classes under industry experts like the MD of IT from Blackrock and many other professors from companies like JPMC.
So, it's all about what you want to do and under whom.

Stevens is very prestigious university so I don't think the reason is university. Also officer didn't let you complete funding question so I think it's not even about funding. It should be something else.

First thing please do not create new account. After rejection it takes around 1 week to get visa case closed. In my case it took 3 days but at it was for old portal. This new visa portal may take longer but you should wait.

You can say like - After graduation I prepared for myself masters by taking multiple online courses which are directly related to my masters.
If you prepared for GRE & Toefl please add that as well.
