Seeing all of those old broken down Plymouth's in this graveyard is heartbreaking. I see a car like that and I all I can think is why didn't someone take care of you?? A million cars can be in the same condition and I could care less. But when it comes to a '58 Plymouth, it's like seeing all the poor orphan children in the streets of an old Dicken's film.
Arizona? Oh yeah, lots of salvage yards like that. I had been through them.
I didnt know so many plymouths were still intact in junkyards i swear if i lived in american i would have already bought 3
I hope people save more of those old 1950s gorgeous rides 🥺
Every car in a junkyard has a story to tell
Agreed
what an amazing collection
69 charger's, plymouth furys, gentlemen you have my attention and my sub.👍
Cool , thanks
In the book, Christine is a '57, the one in the movie is a '58. The '58 was the perfect choice for the movie because of it's quad headlights. 6:30
Thank you for this comment. I was thinking it was a '57(I prefer the book over the movie) and didn't realize the movie used a '58.
@@benjaminandrew9057movies based on Stephen King novels usually don't have much in common with each other. King also proved beyond a reasonable doubt that he doesn't know much about cars:
> He said the car was a red '57 Fury. In 1957, all Furys were gold.
> Twice in the novel he commented on Christine's back doors. All '57 Furys were 2-door hardtops.
> The license plate number he gave bears no resemblance whatsoever to any number/letter sequence ever issued as a regular license plate in Pennsylvania, regardless of what year. I don't think that anybody would order a vanity plate with the number he gave for Christine's plate, so . . . ?
But still, I admit that, even with all of the nit-picky little mistakes that would take a real car hobbyist to find, I did enjoy the book. In fact, it's my second-favorite of his novels (after The Stand), and I am a Stephen King fan. The movie was pretty good, too, if you just remember that it really isn't the same story that King wrote.
One fun little piece of trivia concerning "Christine": As far as I know, to this day it was the only time that a feature movie and the book on which it was (kind of) based both came out, with much anticipation, on the same day! Of course, that was in the early 1980's, when Stephen King was at the height of his popularity.
In the book the narrator tells us that Lebay had the car custom painted red and white. Also states that it was a '58 but it came out in September of '57 because that's when you get your new model year.
ce fut un plaisir de te rencontrer et de gouter a cette perle merci a bruno
Holy crap where is this!? I’ve only seen two ‘57 New Yorkers in person and one was mine that the family had to sell. Apparently it went to Australia but not sure. I’d love to just see another in person.
I am in Australia and I saw a red christine parked on the side of a main road in Brisbane in the 80's definitely was a christine and took 3 standard car parks in length very sadly because it being the main drag I couldn't turn around to have a closer look & nowhere left to park.
I noticed the yard also has a '61 plymouth
So many finned project cars!
I would buy the white one.
Love the old yards! Please keep doing that. I live in the rust belt and can't get anything close.
Resto like this Ain't for the Faint of Heart. Real Body Man Don't Need A Magnet !!
This hurts to see, as someone who's working on a 60s oldsmobile, I feel true pain looking at this, happy y'all are gonna grab one of em at least and turn it into a famous street machine!
We got one check out the latest videos and share thanks
@@GeekAndSon Can do!
My dream car right there!
That 67 chevelle needs to be restored
I want one
I would stay with the original Plymouth Savoy and repair it to factory condition. There are too many Fury "Christines" but a few original Savoys for classic car collectors.
You have a lot of work to find junk and restore a classic 1957 Fury to look like the iconic horror movie car Christine. Good luck.
The hunt continues!!
Be like Arnie good hands but work ass backwards put new windshield wipers on a broken windshield
If its alright to ask, which junkyard is this? I'm trying to find a '58 Mercury front or rear bumper inserts, always on the lookout. Best of luck on your project.
The northern Virginia battle flag ❤
We actually bought the 58 Plymouth 4 door Fowlie
You doing great job, I'm one of your subscriber from Russia
They should block you.
@@solidsnakesimulation666 why?
The exhaust sound from the part where it comes in all burned up still gives me the creeps
Cool
I like your black widow and what have ya. I also like your red one and what have ya. Hemi's are my favorite motor and what have ya. I wonder if you sold it yet and what have ya?.. Thanks for posting and what have ya.
Two guys who want a sweet Plymouth with little work required, for about 50 bucks!! Don't we all.
I ended up getting a 58.
Is that the yard by Williams? I think I was there with a pal, looking for LeMans/ GTO stuff for his car like 20 years ago.
I wonder why you don't see the old 60s mustangs, Camaros or Cudas in a junk yard like that?
If you don’t mind me asking where is that place
Does this Junk Yard have a name or location? Contact information?
I found a plymouth belvedere 58 here in sweden for sale but it cost 100k and it was a cab which I don't want so I guess I have to go to america
Where is this place@?
CC so
My
So cool
S.
7:20 no mention of the Cadillac steak bed
Há eu aí 😭🇧🇷
Pegava tudo 😇👏😄
The 1950s was a long time ago now. You might be able to have a car fully restored with 20% original?
Anyone know where i could find my dream car 1958 Fury/Belvedere? Im in Southern California. But willing to travel
keep looking, they are out there. I had to go to Canada.
Is this Big M in Williams CA?
Gotta be.
Yes
What a nightmare. Unless the car is basically complete, finding parts is going to be difficult.
putting together a puzzle you can drive. :)
@@GeekAndSon Unlike most people, you seemed to have stumbled on a sea of rare parts cars to pick through. I'm sure myself and the rest of us would like to see how things go with the car as you progress.
Get a basic car as a start then a parts car for those hard to get bits there's a few cars that could be saved here
I got one a week ago :)
What is the location of this place
Wow die ganzen Wagen 🤩 ist ja der Hammer 😮 Christine is mein 😜
i commend the guy for not parting out the saveable cars
sad to see this but everyone one of those cars whas driven back in the days
Where os this graveyard?!!?😮
if you buy the 57 and convert it to look like 58 then you are correct for the book and the movie
Where is the lot?
You walked by a '67 Chevelle SS???????
Hello everyone! , im looking for a crankshaft for a dodge coronet 1957-1958 with the engine 325 CI Poly. Someone have this , Good day !
I was just watching this video. In the beginning of the video was that a 66 chevelle?
67
@@GeekAndSon wonder how much he wants for it?
Everybody here is asking where is this junkyard . Why won't anyone tell us where this junkyard is located at ? It will just help increase their business.
I don't think he wants me to say.
@@GeekAndSon OK. Thank you.
The movie Christine is a 58
Yes. That's what we got
I came here because the video title said "restoration"; instead, I lost 25 minutes of my life watching these guys picking out the Fury they WANT to restore. Clickbait.
where is this. Where. is t h i s .
Are you going to restore it or just "make it run"?
Restore
That's good, I hate those channels that just make the run, I'm a new subscriber, where did you find her? I've been looking for one for years.
@@solidsnakesimulation666 Its a secret. :)
What state is the yard in?
Dose this guy know what he a talking about
Christen was a 57 not a 58
