Hey everyone. I apologize for the lack of videos recently. I've been incredibly busy with my job at FloRacing, I absolutely love what I do and wouldn't trade it for anything, but I still feel bad that I don't have more free time to put out content for you wonderful fans. The race season starts to slow in the coming months so hopefully that should free me up for more live streams and other videos in the near future. Thanks for your support, have a great day!
Looks as though Madden misjudged something about the car in front of him, or just tried something that absolutely did not work. In real-time on Flo it looked like a super aggressive move by Madden, but he’s not one to usually do things like that.
Not sure from this angle hard to tell but his throttle may have stuck for a second almost looks like. One thing is for sure he has some secrets in the rear of that car as he covers it up soon as possible
Maybe he just didn't want people to see exactly how he was set up. ! And if he did ne thing shady, wouldn't covering it up draw attention to it from.people such as yourself. That wouldn't be smart would it? So I'm certain it's all.good!
@@chriscurtis3150 if you watch all the cars in the pits, you'll notice that they cover almost all the wheel openings and drape something over the back. Competition is so close teams can not afford to give away their secrets.
Chris came up on the #7 so fast that it was all she wrote when he touched. Chris is one of the cleanest and safest drivers to ever get behind the wheel so either he thought he had a clear bottom coming up or he simply misjudged the speed of his competition. Either way I hate that they ended up with broke cars but accidents are going to happen even to the best.
I believe what they’re hiding is the rear end gear, so competition doesn’t know what they’re running. I think I read or heard that one time about dirt late models.
@@Hammer74 hence why everyone wants to see what's being hidden. Spring settings ?? You meant type of spring and spring rubber. As for shock settings, no one leaves the tags on or deliberatly labels incorrectly.
They Quickly got a cover over the rear of the car. Earlier this year I was thinking that he's figured out the secret that Davenport been doing that's made him so dominant cause those two are differently in another Zip Code..... It's in the rear end setup...
Smokey is a hell of a veteran driver . One of the best to do it. This was all on him. Covering that rear like that as a priority isn't a good look either.
The look is fine. They have something going that no one else has and they want to hide that advantage from other racers. But you're right, he caused the accident. Needed a little more patience because he would have won the heat.
@@marklavallee5610 What I meant by look was they very clearly now have something they hit on that the that nobody else has. They really going to looking now. Watching the race now. Looks like Madden and team packed it up and left last night. Not in the line up anymore.
Whatever was on that rear-end is now junk. A lot of it is mind games. Admit the two hottest drivers are Madden and Davenport. Always said big money on the line my money is on JD
@@jimwilson7364 Couldn't agree more about the mind games and putting your money on J.D.. I was told by a few drivers yrs ago that the rear was covered just to mess with people.

All you keyboard warriors haven't mentioned that the rf wheel wasn't rolling when the wrecker was taking him back to the pits. I'm thinking that brake failure was why he got into the 7. They are all running such lite weight stuff maybe a caliper broke an jammed into the rf rotor 🤷 just saying. It's a possibility
thanks, i haven't had a good laugh all week. in case no one has told you yet, first you don't start a race with your foot on the brake, and if the brake caliper broke it wouldn't matter if you didn't need to brake. he just simply drove in hoping.
@@jimmieroan9881 well cince you don't then, how do you keep the car up on the bars and if the piston breaks the caliper casting and wedges into the rotor and jams it I guess you have never drove a dirt late model or a mod DA
If you watch as the wrecker starts to move and the car turns, the RF is turning, but when the car straightens out that wheel stops turning because it’s no longer touching the ground! Looks like the frame may have twisted. On these flyweight chassis, is doesn’t take much!
Everyone covers up like they just invented the best thing next to sliced bread but it's more about the hype if you won on a weekly basis then I would want to take a look under that cover
@@michaelarrington988 ditto plus very surprised he's doing it in a Rocket, he was a Longhorn before then a Bloomquist 1/2 season. This shows he can set up and drive anything and be successful.

Must have that super secret stealth spoiler technology
Madden doing Madden things
Wow !
What a mess
Looked to me like a case of trying to win the race in the first turn!!! Bonehead move by Madden.
Madden clearly caused that wreck
Smokey got something on the rear of that beast he dont wanna share with nobody else! Covered that ole girl up immediately LOL glad all is ok
I thought the same thing lol
You can see it better earlier in the video..
Damn good thing for 18 that the radiator in the 7 car didnt rupture....
It’s nice to see how professional drivers handle an accident!
Its hard to get mad at a racing deal. If there's a situation where someone is racing you dirty, then you can understandably get mad.
This is at my home state. Nice to have you pay a visit to this track, but that was quite a massive wreck.
Did something break on the 7? That's the only reason I see going into the corner so slow

It's the spring and shock settings they try to keep hidden. These cars are sensitive to the slightest adjustments.
