Hi I am from South Africa, because of this channel I landed on Jim Green and bought the Numzaaan in Walnut, have some Danners from Vietnam, Blunstones 550 very comfy but soles gone very quickly. Next pair would be either Rossi or Jim Green in that Chelsea style. Still checking brands.

I just received my African Ranger Barefoot about a week ago, and they are already the best fitting shoes I have ever had on my Fred Flintstone feet. I will def be buying another pair. Debating on another barefoot, or regular.
I'm electrician of 22 years in the field been through five or six pairs of Red wings danners Carolina etc I always believed in taking care of your feet so I only buy the best boots. I just bought the numzaan and most amazing boot ever thick as hell no matter what you do these will last. The leather so thick you have to wear them a few times before you can even cinch the laces tight. Never thought you could get a pair of boots so nice for $250. These honestly make Red Wing boots look like Walmart shoes and like I said I've been through five pairs or so of Red wings they are my go-to.
Another idea for Jim Green is composite toe construction boots. Composite toes require a larger toe box and the African Rangers and boots similar to them have the room for it.
I have an idea for an alternate sole option for the barefoot rangers for working on concrete. Take a harder rubber and put deeper relief cuts into it in places that need to flex. Then put a thin (maybe 1/4") eva layer between that and the midsole. You keep most of the benifeits of the barefoot sole/last while being a little more comfortable and harder wearing on concrete.
I switched from keens after they kept falling apart. Jim green has a life long customer as long as they keep doing it the way they are doing it. Best shoes and boots I have owned. I have the razorbacks, vellies, and shoellies. The African ranger is my next purchase.
Got some Stockmans off amazon, and now it’s hard to wear any other pair of my boots. They feel so damn good, and now I have the vellies too. Looking forward to whatever these moc toes will be, and looking at the baobabs!
That chair looks deplorable! Do us all a favor, go to your hardware store, get a color matching spray paint and paint the off color away. I did this several years ago and my chair still looks good. It does not make the chair like new but it does make it tolerable.
I got a pair of barefoot AR's and liked them so much I immediately purchaded the original AR in water buffalo hide. Quick shipping from the Mason, VA store for in-stock items. Just one question: are the innersoles British sizes or US sizes? Would my 10/11 sized AR's take a 10 or an 11 insole?
@Max-rn3eb Unfortunately the SA site for accessories doesn't specify if the insoles are Brit or US sizing. I assumed Brit since that's how the boots are marked but they are OOS of the "10/10.5" insoles.
Okay, it was mentioned that he does steel toe work boots. Currently I'm going through about three pairs of Red wings a year because I have to have electrical hazard protection and a safety tow. These boots don't fit aren't comfortable but are what are required for work. Can you possibly make some inquiries about these being released for public sale?

Make a leather head rest/cover to overlap it with your logo covering about 2/3's of it. Well worn chair is many hours of editing.

Because of Weston, I own a pair of African Rangers and they’re impressive. Swap out the insoles and you’re good to go.

I bought Barefoot Rangers in the smallest size for myself and they're just a bit large. Worth it, though. (I'm normally a US 7.5 or EU 38.)
