What ruined it for Arsenal as far as the UCL goes is that Arsenal would always play defensively away from home against weaker teams despite having dominating bigger teams at home. Losing away to teams like Deportivo La Coruna and Valenica with the team Arsenal had was unforgiveable.
We went 55 consecutive games in which we scored a goal, that’s an underrated achievement that not even the likes of Man City and Liverpool could not even accomplish
Nope. Kanu was a dribbler and would beat players like that. Hold up was similar, but touch, Kanu was in the top tier bracket of "ball controllers". Kanu's play making, meant he can play behind the striker, but Adebayor was more dominant in the air. To put it clearly, Kanu was a taller version of Cazorla on the ball and to do that at his height, is incredible.
should have won more titles and UCL during 2001-2005. Pace, power, intelligence, grit, entertainment..we had it all!
I agree with you we should have won more titles and a ucl especially that season there 02/03 we were top of the table for 8 months

Just a shame that this team existed in prime Sir Alex years
We should have won the league in 02/03!
9 black outfield players we were at our best

Ended at Old Trafford once again. Should have scored one of the goals of the season in that game with Pires' chip of Barthez.
That team was so fun to watch. Spectacular.
Black excellence ✊🏾✊🏿
Having just watched us lose to Brentford, this is making me pine for the good old days. Even when we lost, we still played exciting football
I love that blue Arsenal kit.
This was the game where Arsenal played nearly all black players.
Great Quality, Great Side!
Thierry Henry's 4 goals against Leeds from 2003/2004 (5:1) 🔥🔥🔥
I like those blue Arsenal kits and even Leeds in the pure ( Real Madrid style) white look good.
The historical first EPL team that plays 9 black players in the starting eleven 👍🏾🔥
Not true.
Everton v Sheffield United 1993. Everton that is
@@adebolabloke6962 Everton didn't have many black players in 1993?
I was being sarcastic
@@adebolabloke6962 😩🤣
that’s where chelsea now come in
Toure stayed upfront even after Arsenal lost possession
When Arsenal fielded 9 black players.
Black month history
Hey, I'm from the future and Martinelli, Saka and ESR just did it again.
😅😅
No Pires, Ljunberg or Bergkamp either
Arsene Wenger fielded 9 black outfield players
Brilliant
Dejavu today 1-4
Arsenal love a 4-1 at Leeds
Probably best dominant colored team ever.
this when kick and rush era not VAR era..
this when football not from the rich person but from class 🙏👍
ADEBAYORRR and Kanu play so alike
