Karl, thank you man! I am a fairly new owner and my biggest machine got the EFL message late on Friday ( which would have KILLED me over the weekend ). I watched this video and was able to take the drain hose off to find out it was clogged. It runs great now. You saved me a costly service call and I will not have a down machine for the weekend. Disconnect the power from the washer wait 15 seconds and then power up the machine. The EFL fatal error will disappear. If you don’t solve the problem then the error will be occur next time the machine is looking for water.

If you think the problem is the drain valve, then just switch it with the machine next to it of the same make and model and see if problem moves. If the problem moves to the other machine then yes the drain valve is the problem problem stays with the original machine can you guessed wrong.
Karl, I also have a huebsch gas dryer. I would like to have it cleaned. Would you please show us how to clean it? I live in Toronto, and can't find someone to do maintenance. Thank you.
First before starting the washer, turn on the sink and see if there is hot water flowing. If not use the Cold water cycle. Either way complain to the Management company.

If you have a disgruntle maintenance personnel constantly turning the water supply off & on or only running cold water could this cause that error code on the washer? Very good & informative video thanks!
Yes. The washer is looking for water level. If it does not get up to the proper water in 10 minutes, the washer will error out.

I have a speed queen 50lb washer that's work great but just continues to run. It won't unlock the door and starts the next load cycle. I have to unplug it to stop the washer and unlock the door.
I had this error today, but that’s because someone turned off the cold water. Maybe just start there.

Maybe you can help me with a problem at my apartment laundry room. I went in today and all five washers read "Out of Order E nFlo" and I'm fairly certain it had to do with a lack of hot water to the units, because that's been an issue lately. If you switch the machines to cold, they fill up just fine. I needed to get my laundry done, so I took them to a public laundromat to wash and brought them back home because the dryers here were cheaper. When I got back, someone had gotten two of the out of order units running. I don't know what buttons they pushed to make them work again. Is there something I can do to get the machines running if I don't need the hot water?

If the level control doesnt sense that the washer tub is empty, it will not spin. Check the level control if the drain valve is releasing and tub is empty
Hello, the drain valve must be closed when the machine is energized?
All washers have a normally open drain (except some 40 year old Wascomats). That means that in a power failure the drain valves will, open and the water will drain from the machines.

just un plug the machine and wait a min then plug it back in... you should always un plug anyway when working on a machine... so when your done you plug it in and that takes care of the reset

The Bad smell is because of standing water in the machine. This is most commonly found on the white or the apartment grade washers. Run the washer with a bleach wash and that should disinfect the whole machine and keep the door open so the drum dries out.

I had the en flo error and it was a bra wire in drain. Also check ur hose screens.

We bought our equipment through our local distributor. In totally transparency we are also the local Huebsch distributor. But in fairness we paid for freight, rigging, installation, materials used in the installation and sales tax. The difference between a customers cost & my cost is not that great.
