Honestly I think Manus is the best boss in Dark Souls One and is in my top 10 Fromsoftware bosses. He’s very hard but it’s very rewarding to learn the fight. I won’t judge you for cheesing him though, he’s not easy and we all do what we gotta do.
Man, you should be proud of yourself. I platinum'd Sekiro a couple of weeks ago and in some bosses I used tactics that most people say are cheating or cheesing or whatever. I just don't give a damn. If it's a feature that is in the game what's the big deal? Wear those FromSoft platinums with pride!

I don’t really see havel’s armor as cheese. He could of been a wimp and just sat back and casted spells on all the bosses
there's a closer bonfire to Manus, feels like your rushing to end, you really got to fully explore to get the most out of these games, imo.

Play the game how you want but cheesing bosses makes it much less gratifying and fun. You would’ve liked consort radahn more if you beat him fairly.
