Same. Everyone told me I was too strict when I didn’t let my daughter stay somewhere or hang out. Depending on the friend they were welcome to my home.

Growing up, I thought it was just my immigrant Haitian mother’s mistrust and distrust of people but I wasn’t permitted to do sleepovers or anything of the sort (even with family). She’d always say, “You have your own bed and home.” Now that I’m older, I completely understand why. Protect your children at all costs, plus tax.

Crepes are ironic because if you l know you know Akoi Simmons who was caught on vacation with her then 65 year old boy friend was begging for crepes on her way home from the vacation. I said they must be really delicious 😋 because the look 👀 on her face was crazy 🤪 when she thought 💭 he said no to her 😊. I have never had crepes before so I will have to try them now.
