After discovering cold enamel powders I’ve pretty much abandoned my collection of chalk pastels and micas 🤣 the enamel is so durable! I bake it at 275F and works just fine. I ordered a bunch more colors and a holding agent from an Etsy shop in Ukraine. Sometimes I use them dry with a brush and sometimes mix with the gel to make it more like paint. So fun!

Those are some great tips, Mae, thanks for sharing!
I came across that Ukrainian Etsy shop, I think it’s called Cold Enamel, right? I would have ordered from them, but wasn’t sure if I was getting the exact same thing, so I ordered more EFColors from metalclay.uk.
I definitely plan to explore some more possibilities, thank you for the ideas. 😃
      Happy creating!

Great ideas, it sounds/looks very much like embossing powder, not sure you could mix the colors like that though.

Yes, they behave very similarly to embossing powders, however, they are much more durable. Happy creating, Sue!
