- On January 24th, 2023, Officer Guzy and Officer Pearce responded to a disturbance call at a restaurant in Orland Park, Illinois. When they met with the suspect allegedly causing the disturbance, identified as 35-year-old Christopher, he was immediately uncooperative and hostile with officers.
Christopher was charged with 3 counts of felony aggravated battery to an officer, misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct, resisting/obstructing, and assault.

Some people think that "freedom of speech" covers public screaming and yelling. It does not. That is called "disturbing the peace" or "disorderly conduct" and is not legal.

Public screaming and yelling actually isn't illegal. I'm no lawyer, didn't even stay at a Holiday Inn, but this guy was arrested for threatening people.. Had he not threatened anyone, the charges of disorderly conduct or disturbing the peace wouldn't have stuck. A good public defender would be able to have the charges dismissed if all he did was yell and raise his voice. The minute he threatened people is when he sealed his fate, not the screaming and yelling.
It's a fine line, and as long as you don't get any other charges lawyers can usually get disorderly conduct dropped. For this guy, he couldn't stop stacking up other charges.
I am fairly certain that you are wrong my friend. We are allowed to vent anger we are allowed to scream and yell at Injustice. However we perceive it. What we cannot do is threaten others, or make people feel unsafe by your actions. Unchecked anger is a definite red flag.

No sir, that's a mistake, when you realised that this was a corrupt cop setup, to distinguish community policing then you would know that you have huge problems that consequences put your colleagues at life risk when they are doing their work. He's just gone, completely berserk in front of diligent police officers. You wonder whether it is worth staying in the job, after all the training you have undergone to want to protect your fellow citizens, irrespective of colour, and nationality. The narrative is changing, and the police are quite aware of the intelligence at play within their communities. It's noted that most police officers are trigger happy, in situations that could have been handled with diplomacy, and amicably. The presume is mounting on the police with president Biden mandate to bring about a level to diffuse long-term unemployment without hope, and sheer resentment against society. Most foreigners that moved to another country, did do for peace sake, not for retributions against the government. They obviously feels his pain, and see that lots of guys would never condone his actions. Not to be mistaken, he's definitely not standing alone, with this behaviour.

He really had the most patient officers respond to this call, staying calm during the verbal abuse asking questions like “how did they wrong you?” and he was wildly unhinged and disrespectful. His issues run deep. I feel horrible for his family and the responding officers.

It’s weird that his son is there and instead of behaving at his best, showing his son how to respond to a difficult situation, he completely loses his sh*t. He’s setting up his son to be scared of him and the police, which is just a terrible idea.
