I am very happy with this purchase. I have used this snow blower several times now. Preforms better than I expected. Battery holds up to my needs. Only future down fall is replacement battery through green works. Half the price of the total purchase price just for one battery. Other mfs out there for replacements at lower cost. I have not made that decision yet.
Make sure you keep the batteries in the warm when not in use. If you leave them in a unheated shed or garage they will die and not accept a charge. So keep them warm when not in use and remove them from the charger when they are fully charged and they will last for a few years.
Agree the other videos complaining about this machine had battery issues. I have 2 batteries and have no problem with my 2 car driveway at all this year yet in Saskatchewan
Thanks very much for posting this. I had probably seen the same videos you watched about how poorly this little snow blower performed. But watching this, I'm going to go ahead and order one from Amazon. I've got other Greenworks 40 volt tools, so I've got plenty of extra batteries. My neighbor plows my driveway here at my little house in the woods in Connecticut. I'm looking for something, as I have now exceeded 65 years, that will help me clear paths in our huge yard so my aging dog to be able to get around easily, and to clear walks. Hopefully this little guy will help us. I was considering the Earthwise 16 in power shovel as well, but right now they don't have any additional batteries available, and I don't want to buy something like that and have only one battery that I can use. I don't trust the manufacturer when they tell me that more batteries will be coming. - Thanks again!
@Douglas Lawn Care I'm also armed with my favorite Garant shovels, including the 32 in alpine pusher. Hopefully we'll get through this winter without a problem.
I'm only commenting because I own one, and your comment was 3 weeks ago. They only offer returns for 30 days so if you have ANY problems with it do not hesitate to return it. This video is EASILY the best performing unit i've seen, after viewing other videos and with my own experience with the machine. We didn't get any snow until a couple months after purchase so I got hosed on the return. Lots of negative reviews and the positive ones i've seen (i swear to god) seem mainly copy pasted. Good luck and DON'T buy this product.
Thanks! It’s definitely not for everyone but if you’re only maintaining a small area it seems to Handle it fairly well. I wanted a battery unit because I knew I would barely use it and I didn’t want the gas sitting in the tank that long.
I have the corded 13 amp version. That 40 volt doesn't throw the snow hardly at all - the power is draining fast - the voltage level is going down.... oops.
I have this snowblower and it looks like you're having the same problem that I have...hard to push thru snow and I'm a woman. I've looked to find ways to raise the height but no success. Any tips?
The small aluminium skids on the front are very poor. They stick to the concrete making it very hard to push. I put to small luggage wheels on the front of mine. This machine at best is light duty. It's expensive to operate. I have several batteries. Some have crapped out prematurely. One shows full charge, but won't run the machine.

I actually bought some of brand batteries for this unit from Amazon. I’ve only used them a couple times but so far so good!

Thanks for the heads up!

Hopefully it works out for you! It doesn’t work well in deep, heavy, wet snow. If you’re keeping up with it though I think you should be fine.

Great video! Not sure I want a battery powered snowblower. Thanks for sharing your unboxing and experience

totally worth it
So far it’s been great! Works well in deep snow that’s not icy!

I’ve decided that I’m going to sell it and buy a toro.
@@douglaslawncare2843 good luck

Sell it and buy a toro. That’s what I’m going to do. 😂
@@douglaslawncare2843 good one! Now I just have to find someone that's willing to pay triple the price so I can get the Toro 😂
Chut déflecteur is not turning all the way. Anyone know what to do to fix it
O no!
Is that Crocodile Dundee’s Knife?
It’s my string trimmer line cutter. Maybe a little overkill? 😂
