It has been so long since I have been to an antique fair. I think I would end up crying first. It would bring back all the memories of my Mom and I and all the sales we did together. Oh man I miss those days so much.

I appreciate the way you handle the vendors merchandise before during and after the purchase; it saddens me when I see another content creator stacking things up on a cart and you can hear the sound of items being scratched and even see broken bits on the cart from items being clanked together! So much fun! I've been following you for quite awhile along with, The Niche Lady, Flying Pig Thrifts (who I believe is there in Ohio), Lavender Clothes Line, and of course "Handsome Jeffrey", etc, etc, etc. I'm not a reseller but enjoy watching all of the treasures found by everyone. It seems to me that the Thrift Stores, Flea Markets, Antique Markets are raising their prices so much that the "treasures" are getting harder and harder to find. 😢💖

#1: Omg I love seed bead chairs. There’s an artist that sells them at the antique fair in Sac and everyone else ive ever gone with hates them but I think they’re so cool and soooo much work

With all there is to see at the extravaganza, I would have had a difficult time trying to do the scavenger hunt at the same time, although it was a cute idea. I have found that I usually find most of my purchases during the first few hours that I am at the extravaganza and after that I think my eyes just glaze over. When you told that bluebird vendor that the four birds at $7 each were $27 and would he take $20, I was hoping that none of your former students caught that mistake lol. I am a retired teacher so I know we are all human and make mistakes occasionally. I didn't get to attend the show this year, but I enjoyed seeing it through your video. Thanks for sharing and I think you bought some great items!

How were the prices? Do you feel prices were raised for this event?
Those shell girls brought back memories. I used to see those all the time in Atlantic City when I was a kid.
Some were a bit inflated, BUT dealers expect you to haggle.
I don't raise my prices from one event to the next, and most dealers don't either (too time consuming to play such games). Having said that, there are a lot of us professional dealers who sell there, we give deals where we can but we can't give our best away...after all, if there aren't collectors who will pay retail, there's no place for people who flip in the marketplace
You kinda interviewed fat bird finds, when you asked if the Duke counted, after all, an interview is just asking questions!

Absolutely!!
I sell a lot to dealers if I can price it that way. You may not find thrift store prices...but then again, you might in some of the far outer fields. Or come Thursday during setup and shop "the lines"
