Makes me really happy that you’ve made your way to China (something that isn’t as common by most RUclipsrs. I hope you will break whatever stereotypes you may have had about China as what’s taught in the west. I hope you find your way ti Russia as well? (Moscow and Saint Petersburg) I personally have been to both a few times and can honestly say that I i love exploring both countries. In addition, and as result, I’ll never ever believe any negative thing that gets told by the West about either China or Russia. PS. I think you should spoil yourself on accommodation sometime 😂

Hey Sly, I'm not sure if you've put together your trip through China already but if you haven't and have some time check out Xi'an. It's where they have the terra cotta warriors museum and also Hua Shan mountains. The mountains have thousands of steps carved across several ranges to climb and explore. It's pretty cool and you can spend a good 10-12 hours exploring but be warned that your legs will be jelly at the end of the day. Also, if you've seen those clips of people walking out on a rickety platform on the side of the mountain that's where it's at.

Don't be afraid to ask young people for help if you're in need. Most of them speak enough English to help.

It's the common sense that the people ask the police to help if they got some problems in China. Don't be shy. It's not in USA. By the way it's super safe in China. Don't worry with gun, thief or robber.

You are so brave. It is not easy even if you can read all the signs. I guess the number system seems makes it easier to follow. But China is way cleaner and safer even if you get lost.

Google entered China in 1998, not because China prohibited Google, but because Google chose to withdraw from the Chinese market in 2010 because it could not accept relevant Chinese laws. China does not allow pornography, gambling, violence and lies.

Welcome to Beijing, China. Wow, Beijing is so clean and modern. It would be beneficial for you to lean some conversational Chinese while you are in China. It will make your experience in China a more positive one. China is a big countries and with so many different ethnical minorities and different types of cuisines in every city you go. There are differences in terms of custom, food, and local tradition and even local dialec. Don't worry about police there. They are far more friendly and helpful than the ones from the US. Yes, China has the fastest (350KM/hr) high-speed rail in operation in the world. Can you imagine a Chinese tourist from China go to the US, should he/she expect American speak Chinese to him/her when help is needed? Do any American speak Chinese even Chinese is the most spoken language in the world? By the way, China is one of the safest and most friendly countries to visit in the world. I have seen many videos of African Americans visiting China and most of them have out-of-expectation positive experience in China.dialec
