Tim’s Taste of Paradise…was Wild Boar farms new release for this year. They taste similar to Sungold but no where near the splitting problem, so its a keeper. Cherokee Purple is our favorite but was not up to normal standards this year. Japanese Black Trifele is a don’t bother tasteless Tom. Brad’s Atomic Grape was an amazing producer, but definitely a learning curve on knowing when it’s ripe. Totally doing them again. I bought some heirloom tomatoes from the farmers market to taste….nothing knocked it out of the park. Glad for your opinion on honeycomb as it is a love or just ok for many.
Awesome Robin, really appreciate you taking the time to let us know. Definitely wanna try Tim's and we bought Cherokee seeds already !! We had the sane experience at the farmers market, seems to be more about the Name, than the actual taste these days!! Stay Awesome and Cheers 🌱🤞👍🤜🤛👍
Jason is still in love with the Marbonnes - he's already taken cuttings to over winter them. Lol - the seeds are expensive, but I've never figure out how much it costs to grow them all winter. I'm not sure it's cheaper, but it is fun to have tomatoes plants growing at Christmas. Also, as I've watched your latest videos, I realized Jason loves watching your channel because you're always building the soil, building the soil, new beds, refreshing beds. It's so soothing. We loved the Black Cherry tomatoes and they were incredible producers (and tasters). We also grow the Sweet 100's. The German Pink won't get grown again. We'd go with the Black Cherry, Sweet 100 and a couple sauce tomatoes. Great year end review!!

Awesome review, Colleen. 2lbs for the Abe Lincoln--incredible! I am just loving your cattle panels for growing tomatoes. We've had so much wind this summer that having staked tomatoes became a pain. Your chocolate pearl might have had stink bug damage--it can mimic blossom end rot but you'll find piercing holes elsewhere on the tomato. I had it on my chocolate stripes the last few weeks since their arrival. Have a great week and thanks for your videos!
Wow Val - you really know your bugs lol. You may be right about that - it was weird it didn't go anywhere else, but Jason was all over those tomatoes picking things off. Awesome review on your awesome tomato harvest!! Pulling the shade cloth is a good thing, will stress the plant to ripen the fruit. Ashley from "Gardening in Canada" did a video on stressing tomato plants to ripen the fruit here is a link ruclips.net/video/3D73usbSyFw/видео.htmlsi=vapvN6obqLM4zQ9D. Squirrels are the ones that will bother my tomatoes, birds not so much, they eat my strawberries. Tried Amish paste this year, nice fruit, my favorite paste tomato are the Opalka's and Jersey Devils, huge fruit, very few seeds. I had a Moskvich tomato that I was fighting BER all summer, finally gave up and pulled it. Some varieties more susceptible I guess. Agree on the Sungold, Think I will over winter a cutting. Not a fan of the black cherry either for the same reasons, good roasted though. Dramatic proof on the worm tea, every serious gardener should raise worms, a no brainer. I used to grow a beefsteak Trip-L-Crop, huge fruit but the top1/2 went to the worms. Better tomatoes out there. 600 lbs. next year???? Have a great week! Stay Well!!!!
AHH, awesome, Brian !! People keep talking about Tim's taste of Paradise. We're going to try Cherokee Purple next year, too. Well, at least the worm tea didn't hurt !! Cheers J&C 🌱🤞👍🤜🤛🇺🇸

We just got them today!! So awesome! Can't wait to try them out.
Really looking forward to seeing whether those tomatoes work out. I'm confident in the Vivacious - we'll see about the Abe Lincoln!
We'll be going through our seeds and probably giving some away. Our public library collects and distributes them! Cheers, Colleen
@@clivesconundrumgarden Cool! It's always fun swapping seeds and I'm hoping to sell some as well for the charity 🙂

Dang you will hit 400 easy on tomato. Lol sungold always wins. Weird I loved the black cherry. 100% agree about keeping the cherry tomatoes away from the big ones. I can send you seeds for the tomatoes I grew. Good idea. I don't want to choose. Lol🪱👍🏼😁l😂😂😂
In this heat, every option possible is a good idea, lol
That's interesting about the Black Cherry.
People keep Tim's Taste of Paradise????
Have an awesome week Ann !!
Cheers J&C 🌱🤞👍👍👍👍👍👍
