The Only Good Indians is TOTALLY a rough read. You are not alone there. I’m so glad you loved it! Its definitely not my fave of his (Night of the Mannequins and Chainsaw are my two faves of his) but I also enjoyed reading a book solely about Native people!
I have The Weejee Man on my Kindle. Maybe I'll save it for fall/winter. Twelve Residents Dreaming sounds fantastic! SGJ's Indian Lake Trilogy is my favorite series of all time. I've tried to read The Only Good Indians three times, though, and have never been able to get into it. I definitely feel that reading it with a book club would have helped me get through it, especially because I love his Indian Lake Trilogy so much. Great wrap-up!
Thank you for watching! I have to reading his Indian Lake Trilogy next! I have the first one on my shelf. I was definitely on the struggle bus with The Only Good Indians until about half way through. I’m so glad I toughed it out. It ended up being so good!
Great Wrap-Up! The Weejee Man sounds real interesting, love dark and atmospheric folk horror tales. I am going to read a Stephen Graham Jones novella next month, The Only Good Indians does sounds real good, you have spoke so passionately about the book... on my tbr,
Thank you for watching! Which Stephen Graham Jones are you reading next month? Will this be your first one of his?I have a couple on my shelf I haven’t picked up yet.
I heard someone talk about Don't Fear the Reaper recently and they said it was really good. The Weejee Man sounds very atmospheric. I've seen The Only Good Indians around, but haven't heard many talk about it. Sounds like it was a pretty good reading month.
I have Don’t Fear the Reaper on my shelf and will definitely be reading it soon. I’m so behind on that whole series. It was definitely a good reading month. Thank you for watching! 🖤

I have to read My Heart is a Chainsaw next! I know it’s going to be wildly different.
Your lava lamp is so cool! 😍
I need to reread The Only Good Indians! I only remember the 🦷 part 😂 I love the way he writes! Awesome wrap-up!!!
Thank you! I can see that being the part you remember. 😂
The Only Good Indians is SGJ's best book. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! I'm glad you loved it. 🤗
It is so good! It’s the only one I’ve read of his so far.
I love your background it’s so cute!
Thank you! 🖤
What a good reading month! I gotta check these books out! Especially that Reaper one hehe

@@spookylittlebooknerd Something about Mapping The Interior.
@@CliffsDarkGems I haven’t heard of that one. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it!
So many good books that the number of books does not matter. Awesome month I dare say.
Thank you! I’m definitely a quality over quantity girl! 🖤
