I'm so glad you got a taste of Marc's original music! There's so much more. This guy is a musician's musician. He's a very versatile singer, composer, and entertainer. Love the reaction - I enjoy how you point out skills and fine points. Thank you!
Thanks for checking out this original by Marc! I’m gonna have you go on a journey through his original music (since you’re very interested in it). This is from his album Impersonator, one of my all time favorite albums, so to have you go through the tracks would be a fun journey to go on. Anyway, I’ll send you another Marc original down the line; have a great day Jeff, see you soon.👍
Thanks, Josh! Dead Ringer is the next track on the album. I vaguely recall Marc mentioning something about deliberately arranging the tracks in a particular order on the LP, but can't say for certain.
This was really cool! So many great artists out there, and fun to discover! Btw Jeff, i would love for you to react to Sondre Lerche! Particularly the songs: No one’s gonna come(live) , Two way monologue(live) and SENTIMENTALIST(music video) I think some people would get a kick out of it
You find some of the greatest stuff. Great combination rhythmic/melodic hook- easily singable by the listener. Familiar but modified minor blues with a refreshing bridge. This tune should be taught as a template for new songwriters-it’s accessible but not cliche. Great pick, old friend.
His voice and the song resembles of some other song that I cannot get to my head. That familiar part starts 1 min 16 sec from the beginning ....."solo you can only go so far, way up high I'm just another man. Knock me down into your arms again....." It will come to me eventually later on... Yet I love the soft tone in his voice - I want to hear moore because he is WOW (except this cap he is wearing.)
Hilarious! I experience the same, every time I listen to it, and I've been listening to it regularly for four years! 😂 That part always reminds me of the chorus in Aerosmith's Walk This Way. I keep expecting him to start belting out "Walk This Way!"
Here's the thing -- Tyler Warren (playing drums here) covered the entire album Permanent Waves by RUSH -- by himself. Granted, that's too long for a reaction video, but you most definitely need to check it out. Tyler is a monster.
@@StrateleStudios Thanks for checking him out! He's got a lot of monster content on his channel, plus he's a superb human dude as well. People like him and Marc, and Jonah, and yourself, ya make me thankful to be a career musician. ❤️
@@StrateleStudios ooh, it's unbelievable! Can't wait to see what you think! A favour for your reaction vid: can you read Marc's description under the video before you press play? He's a great storyteller, and his story adds depth and context to the way he covers it.
Ohhhh wow!!!!! I’ve never heard his original work!!!! This is amazing 🎉Thank you!!! Great Reaction!!!!
As always, Jeff, you notice the skills Marc brings. Glad you like his original works too. I enjoy the unison octave in the chorus.
