Liz Gledhill - I Am Thundermist

Meet Liz Gledhill, the statewide coordinator for Crisis Intervention Teams of Rhode Island. Liz uses a community-based approach helping people who are experiencing mental health challenges. She and her team work with first responders and communities to meet the needs of people that are most vulnerable. “We teach people how to have tactical empathy and how to really understand what someone's going through,” she shares, “so that when they show up on scene, they know that they need to show up with compassion and to show up to really care about how this person gets their issues resolved.” #IAmThundermist
