I have saved several of my father in-laws shirts and ties but my mother-in-law loved to garden.. what a wonderful gift to give to my brother and sister-in-laws for christmas. This will be the first one with out either of them. So the theme... moms garden flowers on dads shirts!!!!

Also it is a fact that I prefer to watch it over again and again just because I feel pretty calm after watching this. India has many states and each state has its own embroidery stich like fulkari of Punjab ....We get beautiful handmade products very easily here in India. Rural India has flourished with this talent and business.

This reminds me of a top my Mom made for me when I was in Jr. High. She satin stitch embroidered 3 hearts across the yoke before actually sewing the top together. It later was a hand me down to a younger cousin. I hope she treasured it. I didn't cherish it at the time but now understand the effort our Mom put in to making clothes for us kids. Sweet memories!

I have more than once put a LOT of work and time into projects that i LOVED, and gave them as gifts to find out later that the receivers never really appreciated. I would keep it for my own use. I have learned that lesson!
These are so sweet! I used to love to embroider but my carpal tunnel does not allow me to anymore, at least not for long periods of time. This makes me really want to start doing it again.you just don’t projects that are completely hand sewn anymore. I love this.
Absolutely love this. I have some old jeans and work pants that I'm going to salvage the material from. This project would work great for that, Now to come up with a matching hat and maybe a vest. Made on a smaller scale, a bag and hat would make a delightful ensemble for a little girl.
This was a work of ART a really beautiful thing to own, I could NEVER make one like this if it took me a year to do as I wouldn’t have the patience OR the TALENT ! Thoroughly enjoyed watching it !
