Well if you really want to compare, look at how the 49ers responded after their loss commpared to thEagles. Against teams both teams should dominate, the 49ers dominated those games, where as the Eagles continue to lose or struggle with. The damage the 49ers did to the Eagles was way deeper than we throught initially after that game.
As a lifelong NYG fan…thank you for this display of grief. Philly had beaten the NYG soundly for almost a decade. This was a nice way to end a total letdown of a season. Watching the cocky Philly fans who paid and drove up 95 in bad weather leave at halftime shocked and searching for answers was a bonus. Cry Eagles Cry will be a new billboard chart topper. 😂🤘🏼

49ers fan here. The 49ers didn't break the Eagles. Nor did the Cowboys. We merely popped the bubble that those close wins were because of the Eagles supposedly being a quality come-from-behind team. They were showing the weakness for several weeks before the 49ers game. But they kept getting lucky. Chiefs players dropping game winning passes that were right on the numbers. Referee calls giving them wins. Finally the luck just ran out. But they were broken will before the 49ers game.
