"Atmosphere, is the Magic of a place..." Yes, the Hotel Monteleone on Royal Street in New Orleans, always leaves me in Awe! Still Loving your reviews... Thanks!
I just learned about Light Academia! I also ordered the copy of Bill Stubbs' book I Hate Red! You're Fired! Mainly because I am not a fan of red, although I stained the floor of my house River Rock Red when my older dog became sick. This helped her for 2 years. Coral Red is different. This book of atmosphere included sound, which I have seen on a Ted Talk from the architect's viewpoint. I live near Atlanta, so I may go to the shop. I have no room for more furniture. I may look at the Sherrill Furniture lines for ideas. I just bought 2 chairs with needlepoint to match a needlepoint seated chair I already had, so perhaps I do have room for more furniture. . . .
I love this book (side note : I never once thought the skills, knowledge & talent was an easy trade off job for the team without excruciating monitoring by the designer. “slight of hand” is a wonderful tool in the hands of an amazing designer &/or architect 💯
Vizcaya in Miami IS AMAZING...not only the Interiors but, the Gardens ...Oh My!!!......totally agree about Mario Buatta's Blue Room....I have a tear sheet on that room in one of my Design Notebooks....✌️💋💜
Thank you! The fabric is a duvet cover that came from Pottery Barn. The print is called "Athena" and was based on an old, embroidered fabric by Bruswhig and Fils.
He reads the soul of the home..Wow! Thank you
Merci! Atmosphere, indeed...

I can see how this would be required reading for anyone hoping to create a truly "finished" room. Added... and many thanks!
I have very much been enjoying your book reviews! What is the fabric where you've rested the book as you flip through it at the end. I love it!
