    Thank you for giving aggression score, lots of federer fans mock Djokovic for hitting less winners but they don't notice damaging shots and forced errors

    Excellent analysis. Thank you for putting this together. As a Roger die hard, this 2019 Wimbledon loss was probably the toughest to endure. I appreciate you making sense of what went wrong on those fateful points.

    Roger played awful on both match points! He looked impatient, and lost his timing, hoping Novak would make the error, instead of him hitting the winner or forced shot! I am gutted, he better make it up this year at Wimbledon!😀

    All fine in hindsight. Some very obvious mistakes by Federer which in think anyone that plays at a decent level can figure out. The main point is that Roger got tight in execution and went for safety instead of the lines on the match points, both on the serves and the inside in forehand. The inside in forehand needed to be shorter / flatter because Djoker or any other baseliner would be expecting a depth shot and just hook that for a cross court pass.

    • @kailashpatel1706
      @kailashpatel1706 3 года назад

      sorry i think his approach shot was short?...to me the cardinal error was the serve direction on both...he never tried a proper outside serve on either..if that was Sampras, Novak is not getting off the hook..he would look for a massive outside serve and finish it off...the guy was nerveless...

    Hi. I'm japanese high school student.Can I ask you about dartfish software. Are this annotation of players footprints automatic? I searched but I can't find out infomation. thank you.

    • @TennisUnleashed
      @TennisUnleashed  4 года назад +5

      Hi,
      Thanks for watching. The annotation of the footprints is not "automatic". Dartfish is able to calculate 3D measurements, they have a tool for this in Dartfish 10. After you have done the analysis for that point, you track the individual player and then are able to add these graphics fairly easily to the tracked player. I hope this answers your question, but the 3D analysis and tracking is a manual process. It takes me about 25 hours to do one tennis analysis video like this one.

    All the detailed analysis in the world wont explain what happened better, then simply saying that Federer choked. There is nothing in the world these two guys cannot do with a raquet and a ball, so when push comes to shove, it all comes down to who has higher mental stability.

    Federer was too tentative, his approach shot was weak, and gave NOvak an opportunity to pass, he didn't hit deep or hard wide enough to force a weak return, for an approach shot, or volley finish.

    Fed was better but stats don't lie even if they do. :D The match was tight and Fed couldn't execute optimally in the decisive points. Also, those inside out forehands shown here are just weak forced efforts and tokens of Fed's low confidence on his backhand that day. Too bad he lost, the world is a little lesser and to some extent worse place after that: gloomier and less playful. lol. Fed must still win at least one more GS to keep things civilized. And he knows it. Go, Fed, go!

    • @mickaellandry9726

      Djokovic deserved the victory and championship 😉
      *In tennis ,if you want to win and be the better in a GS match , you absolutely need to take 3 sets. No choice. Period !*
      It's not like others sports where a player with the lead can take the risk that the situation will reverse while waiting for the end of the regular time. Not possible, there only one way ! *It's not about who win the most points but who win the most importants* 👍
      You can't rob your opponent because at the end of the match. you have to take 3 sets and can't cheat with a timer (like soccer for example)
      *The better player always win.* It is not only about winners, there are also unforced errors, there also forced errors (Nole usually goes on that). There is no only attack, there is defence, too. Besides technique, there is tactics and mentality and so on. 🎾

    VERY Simple how Federer blew the 2 match points... because he was NERVOUS...He becomes so TENTATIVE at times during HUGE points over the last 5 years or so...He had Opportunities to SEAL this match but he had too much weight on his shoulders because he does not want to Disappoint everyone that Adores him (Which is mostly Everybody)...This Major would have been absolutely HUGE to the Legacy of Federer and he BLEW it...Too much pressure on Federer...Djoko and Nadal are GREAT GREAT players but they do not have nor feel the Pressure Fed has on him
