I absolutely love Pestilence but I'm glad I didn't bother with that latest release after you tore it apart. I don't mind the new Kerry King album, even if it is just Slayer with better vocals. That Blood Incantation album is a beast, a truly fantastic band. Great video Kris
Quality list. You have given me a few black metal releases I've missed on this year. For me one of the best year of releases in a long long time. I know you do this Chanel for a way of getting green sabre more exposure but your music reviews and opinions are better then any "alternative press" or music bloggers page.

Well, that's a hell of a list to follow😂 We have a few similarities, and a few of the ones you showed I now need to seek out 😂 I'm struggling to place Paysage D'Hiver in my list purely because of the length of it, but it is easily one of my favourite releases of the year. I think a further reshuffle of my list may be required 😂

Three goes to watch this mate but some great stuff I agree what is the point of a Kerry King album the Winterfylleth is an absolute beast and looking forward to seeing them in February. Great list Kris. Time is an issue for me as well. I now listen to most of mine in the car or out running/ gym so digital downloads do have a place. It does open up more opportunity for underground bands but then you get inundated with music to the point you can't listen to it all. Not with the ankle biters wanting lifts everywhere 😆 With you on Kerry King and worse still he's announced his tour at the academy next year for £50 a ticket 🤪 Crazy money for what you get
Really good point about the sheer volume of music on tap, especially if you subscribe to a streaming service, to really absorb albums and get the replay value that bands in the late 80’s early 90’s did due to the market being less saturated. Can’t really complain though about greater choice, i'm sure there are many great bands that go unnoticed though.
Cracking list, buddy. Black Metal heavy but rightly so. I would struggle to get this top6 in any other order as they're all cracking albums. Glad to see the Cure being mentioned, it's an absolute (non metal) gem. I recommend Filii Nigrantium Infernalium and Toxikull and Lord Sin and Louvado Abismo. (All portuguese stuff and may not be on everyone's radar, but it's worth checking out).
Gordon bennet you easily did a top 40 without actually calling it that haha! I predicted your no.1 which was good to see. I slept on that release as it wasn't clicking with me at the time. I feel I need it though as i've got the other 2 sat behind me haha! Need to check out your no.2 as i've now seen a few of you lot show that but looks like I need to start onlyfans to get a copy! Wow your 2 to 5 inclusive are in my top 5 too .. I have sig ar tyr at number 1 .. I have dying bride as a disappointment it's er not doing it for me n that's a sad shame as I was longing for a mega comeback.. better than orion I agree but I can't even play that one.. Great list . I was due at crash records yesterday but I have flu .. saved some money I guess 😂

King, not a disappointment for me, just as mediocre as I thought it would be. Glad to see my countrymen Djevel on your list, excellent album.
