Taking opportunity to wish all Muslim friends - " Selamat Berpuasa " in the month of Ramadan. A quick update on what I have notice since Day 1 & Day 2 in Johor Bahru. Stay safe and take care everyone.
Wah, disappear so long...so are you back in JB? Or you travel in and out of SG and come back weekend? Good for you.. Hope you are doing much better now.Stay safe.

Ah.. I was also curious as well so just decided to share it as well. ..It has been a long 2 years.... A very different world... come to think of it.. My lockdown vlog will be " golden classics " 5 years from now.. lol
Well, Boon Keng, not like pre-COVID times but at least ,we all have to move on and manage things now. 2 years is enough ...... family, friends, loved ones separated for too long. Anyway, thanks for the support...Stay safe and take care out there.
Well, a long time coming...my extended family, in laws, nephews..... All coming in with a blast....And a plan in place.....lol, but still just stay safe, and do our social responsibilities...we'll manage..
You are always welcome... Time to come to JB and check out all the cool cafes and pamper yourself with massage & nail polish services...Sounds good?? Take care Ya!
Good time to revisit old hangout... and new once too... There are also new places that you can explore in JB as well. I will be making some new vlog of new places and activites.
Hi BROS,,LOOK LIKE JB CITY SQ.MALL IS MOST IMPORTANT IN JB TOWN..IF CITY SQ IS QUITE OTHERS PLACE SURE WONT BE BETTER..BECOS EVERYDAY THOUSAND OF PPL FROM BOTH SIDE GO THROUGH CITY SQ.N CIQ..
City SQ has always been the heartbeat due to the location next to the CIQ, office tower, businesses in this part of JB center, but as you move away , it's much different... as JB has around a 20 km radius...so the demographic is pretty scattered. The hot zone is the AEON Tebrau City / Toppen / IKEA / Austin Hill area...it's a happening area.
Hhmm,, it will be interesting... I know many Singaporeans are having a wait and see approach.....All I can say to my Singaporeans friends... Just head over to your favorite haunts...No need to worry.... It's a simple , pretty much like before COVID situation....Spa, salon , car wash, food.... Just go with the flow.... anyway thanks for watching ...Stay safe.
Wow so happy to see that all the shops are opening up and hope that I all is going well. It's been 2 years that we are unable to go to JB. Planning to come back soon. Bro, maybe your next video can include the hawker stalls at the back-lane of Jalan Meldrum and around the area. There are many delicious Chinese and Muslim foods too. Hopefully they are back to normal. Thanks
Well, a long awaited 2 years... Sad to say, Jln Meldrum is not the same like yesteryears..... The pandemic wipe out nearly 50% of all the stalls... only the strong established survived... A few Kambung sup, mamak tea tarik stalls, Chinese wok stalls and the famous JB Oyster Meldrum Walk still there although oyster stall is much busier than before.... ( They have their own JB Meldrum Walk page in Facebook) go check it out... I will try to visit Meldrum Walk when I go back to the city area again.
For now, only bus service is Causeway Link ( yellow) from JB - SG / SG - JB.. Coming back is easy. No issue, stay tune to my next vlog.. it covers that. Stay safe out there.
Hi JT, good informative video. Can I check with you? What's the rules on mask wearing in Malaysia these days? When you're outdoors, you still have to use a mask? Thanks
Ah , thanks for the support. Mask is mandatory whether indoor or outdoor. However, you can remove mask when eating, exercising, alone with no one around example like in a park, on beach, open field, driving own car.
I have no idea why the SG authorities are not re-installing the bus services SBS 170 and 170X. For those who can't afford either to drive or to fly across the the courseway, may I appeal to the authorities to do so as soon as possible. Thank you so much.
I'm sorry, for the 170 bus situation, but alternatively, Head over to Woodlands, go to the bus terminal and take a bus to the Woodlands Train Checkpoint.. Once you cleared the Custom Immigration... head down to Causeway Link Bus ( Yellow bus) and just pay USD2 or RM6 to get across the causeway.... Coming back to SG is the reverse situation... It's not crowded and least, you can head over to JB. Thanks for watching & appreciate the support.
@@BreakawayBites Thank you so much for the suggestion. But I still prefer SBS170X, for senior citizens it's more convenient. Why the authority still does not want to re-install the SBS170 or 170X service, Is beyond my comprehension. Didn't the govt. claims fairness to all? rich and poor? But It doesn't seems to be so. The opening of the causeway is only for the rich. Oh! by the way, did SBS has any quarrel with the Yellow Bus? Just curious.
@@thomastay5043 Ah..ok, thru Woodlands route can be a little bit tiring for senior citizens. Any issues between SBS with Yellow Bus? Not that I know of. Hope for the best and things to improve in the coming days.
@@Democraps_are_narrow-minded There are mobile services selling SIM card near the CIQ area unless you want to use M1 or Singtel roaming services but not going to be cheap, I think... In my case I have a MY and a SG line.
