- Just arrived! AAA top Gibson Les Paul Standards - available in '50s and '60s configuration. These beautiful guitars feature Gibson's premium figured maple top, the highest spec tops in their range. These guitars embrace the natural character of the woods and put it on show, making each guitar totally unique.
To finish each guitar with a period correct touch, each guitar is finished in Nitrocellulose lacquer, rather than the standard polyurethane of modern guitars.
The '50s and '60s models differ in neck profile and componentry, with the '50s Les Paul featuring Classic '57 pickups and the '60s Les Paul featuring the hotter Burstbucker pickups.
Mannys have the '50s AAA Top Les Paul in Heritage Cherry Burst, and the '60s AAA Top Les Paul in Lemonburst and Heritage Cherry Burst finishes in stock.
These guitars pay tribute to the Gibson golden era, and represent a no compromises approach to putting classic guitars in the hands of modern players. Made in the USA.
Thanks to Tyler De Jong for lending his talent for this video. You can also see more of Tyler's videos and jams through his channels here: www.tylerdejon...

That 50s Standard sounds amazing... especially when it's playing Calling Dr. Love!
I bought both a 50’s, and 60’s this year. The 50’s is a AAA Heritage Cherry burst, and the 60’s is a AAA Bourbon burst. Fantastic guitars.
okay, stop bragging 😄
What do you prefer?
@@urgidover Probably the 50’s…Slightly….It has a darker crunch sound (which I prefer). The 60’s is just a tad brighter. It’s true self doesn’t come out until you crank up the gain. (I’ve played through Marshall’s for over thirty years) These are the first new guitars I’ve bought in a very long time, and I must say Gibson has stepped up their game. Flawless workmanship (at least on mine). You can’t go wrong with either.
@@1sttvbn true, I think Gibson has improved a lot the quality.
I have the very same guitar! (in iced tea/50s spec) and it’s the best thing I own. Love the low output pick ups. You really do the guitar(s) justice, you’re an amazing player!
Even the 60s with the burstbuckers shines. I’m a 50s guy though
kinda fun playing rhythm parts along with it. i heard kiss "rock and roll" in there too.
My bucket list guitar! 😍
😁
Gibson can produce incredibly fine looking AAA topped guitars, just don’t let them or anyone else tell you that it contributes to the tone/resonance.
I just bought the actual '60s AAA top (Heritage cherry) guitar used in this video!!
Which city was it in?
congratulations! Hope you get years of joy from your purchase, it's a beautiful guitar!

@@zoiken4 yeah I was scoping that one out too lol. Enjoy
@@MannysMusic_Online Thankyou
Love the guitar. BUT! Can we appreciate the guy for these insane licks?
What rig are you playing on the dirty channel man!? Sounds killer!!
Sounds amazing. But specs like Traditional Les Paul has. Does it make sense to pay a thousand more?
Great video! What amplifier did you use?
was that solo you played on the lemon burst rock n roll all night?
Killer tone!! Do you use a jazz3 pick?
Damn fine my man
Killer tone!!! What amp did you used?
Cheers! just using a Line 6 Helix for amp/fx in this video :)
i can hear the zinc tailpiece. 😊
It’s aluminum 😆
Those guitars do not come with the pick ups that you mentioned, did you change it?
Is the 60s neck at the nut slimmer than the 50s neck at the nut. I ask as my 50s standard came with a smaller nut that wasn't flush with the neck binding , also it had very sharp edges that made playing up towards the nut very uncomfortable. The body binding was also poorly fitted having a noticeable lip where it met the side of the body, I'm not sure if that's how they are these day's but I expected QC to be better.
The nuts should be the same in both models
No, neck on the 60’s is slimmer as far as thickness. Not width. And the only real difference is from the 6th fret, down to the nut.
Loved the mask ....respect for the guitar NOT getting the virus....respect
hahaha
That mask is as worthless as the liberal politicians trying to control us all through force. So do not comply, resist their lies and dictatorship.
😂
Masked weirdos still masking around. The whole world was masked, evil times
Love the mask? Because they don’t work?
Im a novice guitar player - are the different sounds in this video generated in the guitar or by amp controls?
Don’t think you’ll get a reply from OP but just saw he’s using the Helix for this. Sounds come from the Helix
Price of this guitar plz?
You guys gonna get any more of these in again?
hard to say, they're not a standard run guitar for Gibson so the opportunity to stock them only comes along when they decide to build them. No info currently available on the next run at this point, but we'll absolutely get some more in if the opportunity arises
@@MannysMusic_Online sweet, thanks m8
did these all instantly sell out?
We got a handful of each colourway in, still a few left to check out 😉
do you come down from the astronomical list price on these?
I got $200 off on both mine.
Desde ya gracias pero por que no en Español disculpa
Would love one in ice tea or bourbon.
iced tea is the best color for me
Tobacco burst is the best !!!!
La 50s suona meglio
