    I've worked out on traditional heavy bags ruclips.net/user/postUgkxp9-sf95nqfjey-uyzxUzQ7m9MXRPK1BE a spherical stuffed "wrecking ball" bag, and now this thing. What I like about it is that it has the heft to stay largely in place so I'm not chasing it around. It's tall enough to allow for headshots and body shots, but it's short enough to give an uppercut somewhere to land. I'm very happy so far. Filling it was a bit of a cluster. For top-offs, I've learned that you can screw the supplied nozzle onto any basic plastic water bottle. I can't speak to durability as I've only had it a week.

    Got this bag for my birthday let’s say 2 years ago and although I’m grateful for the gift, I can’t ignore how bad this bag is. Like you said in the video the settling of the material is super inconsistent and I’ve hurt my wrist hitting with powerful shots on certain areas of the bag. I’ve had to tape the areas that aren’t as hard so that way I know where to hit. I took it down and replaced it with a better bag, but I still keep it around so that whenever the friend that got me it comes into my home gym can be glad I “use” it. Prolly an ahole for it but hey I’m not gonna ruin my wrist more than I already have lol.

      I never had a problem with this bag to complain about it. A bag is a bag and a workout is a workout. Never hurt my wrist or ragged on a bag that anyone can buy for 50 unused on Craigslist or fb market. Exceptional bag for the price that allows anyone to get a great workout. If I were to complain, it would be about me not coughing up the $ for a professional leather bag. Period

      @med4u1 Год назад

      @@joshuaespinoza534 it makes a difference if you know what you're doing.. I get it though if just for the workout then all good but for some who take their boxing training serious and competitively it would hinder the experience possibly create injuries.

    Love your channel. Keep up the cool reviews. I have the 100 lb. Everlast Powercore and as with any bag from them, you have to always open up and restuff if you don't want to kill your hands or shins. That said, for a little more money you could get a leather bag from Everlast or Ringside. However, if you're new to the sweet science, this or an 80lb. bag from Everlast is a good bag to start with for not a lot of money.

    hey man I have this same bag and it's true this thing dents up pretty quick towards the top. I opened it up and realized they only have a sand core in the bottom 2/3rds of the bag. I removed about a foot of fill and placed about 15lbs of sand in a two garbage bags and then repacked all of the fill. I even added some old sweaters and stuff in the core. Now this bag pops nice and isn't super soft at the top which is awesome. I say this bag is worth it after about 1 hour of fixing it, hits nice. Anyways, make that budget boxing gloves video!! Maybe 100$ of less! Thanks for the videos!

    @csquaredboxing I have one of these because it was the only one I could afford when I bought it last summer, but based on your video here and some advice from other videos, I spent a few hours 2 days ago removing enough of the tiny bits of old clothes in it to get to the sand bags towards the bottom so I could remove them which I did.
    Here is the problem, after removing the 7-9 sand bags (all in the bottom third of the bag) with a combined weight of 30-40 pounds, I not only was not only unable to cram 30-40 pounds of extra clothes in it, I wasn't even able to fit all of the tiny bits of old clothes I had removed to get to the sand bags back inside it before it was full. Do you have any suggestions for what I should do/try to fix this new problem?

    I got a Everlast 70 lb heavy bag kit and is pretty good I like the material of the bag is made out of the same material as this bag. It's a hard to hit and sorta hurts the wrists if you miss a punch with the gloves but as long as the wraps you use are nice and tight it shouldn't be a problem overall I would give my bag a 80/100 🥊.

  • @nicodemusbarajas8037
    @nicodemusbarajas8037 4 года назад +3

    Those bags are all good to the point you cant adjust the top straps to instal it in an 8 foot ceiling. The bag hags too low and you start punching more of the top of the bag and your anchor will pop out of the ceiling. If it had chains then you could adjust the bag according to the individual hitting it so that they could hit more of the bottom of the bag and that’s where all the power absorption will remain. You start hitting the middle of the bag and all the insulation sinks to the bottom. Its all good for garages and high ceilings. But not for basement gyms.

    I got one here in Australia for $30 USD at a second hand shop. Mine is an older grey coloured version. OK for the money. My thinking is if your a serious fighter invest in quality as a heavy bag lasts forever. Everlast are one of those brands sold and off-shored to China where low quality stuff gets their brand. This settling of bags is common for many, the only solution I think is to open and further pack the bag.

    Its not bad. One of the hardest lesson learned. Once I got used to punching properly and warmed up. One of my punch had my wrist slightly bend (thanks to Hayabusa gloves. They make my wrist slightly bent downwards and not good to use for starters), and I really hurt it when I landed on a very tense spot of that heavy bag.
    I quit using Hayabusa gloves and stopped training on heavy bags until I got my winning usa gloves.

    I've never had a heavy bag before, but I just purchased this one prior to seeing your review. It's a shame to hear the quality is questionable, but it looks like Nazo stuff is basically twice the price. Far outside my price range for my little "keep in shape" hobby.
    Hope I can refluff it or something to keep it more even over time.
