Carter Road MTB Trails - Most Unique Trails I've Ever Ridden! Loyce Harpe Park - Mulberry, FL

- On day two of the road trip we head east to Loyce Harpe Park to ride Carter Road MTB trails for the first time ever! I've seen so many videos of this trail system and to finally get the chance to hit the trails ... and jumps in person has me so excited! Alafia was a great warm up for these intense trails that left very little room for error. The surroundings were so beautiful that it sometimes made it impossible to focus on the trail, luckily I didn't join the swim club this trip and I am so thankful for that as alligators are very prevalent here at Carter Road.
Next up on the road trip is Grapefruit Trails in Palm Bay! Hope to catch ya'll on the next adventure!

Your "trail guide" is the dude that helped me gain confidence to hit the big drop at the trainer area. He's a good dude.
I lucked out for sure! He knows his way around the park and all the features quite well!
That place looks awesome! So rad riding so close to the edge like that. Must have been a bit sketchy cutting those trails in.
It is definitely exhilarating to ride I could only imagine building it!
I was bummed I didn't have time to check this place out. Looks freaking wild!
Definitely a must hit!! We should make a trip sometime to ride my dude!
That bird noise at the end always kills me 😂😂😂. Awesome looking trail though!
Glad to see you tuning in dude! Long time no hear! I am gonna be back in Georgia on Monday. We should meet up and grab a beer!
I've ran into that "local rider" a few times there during the week. In fact ran into him yesterday. lol
Drop his instagram if you get it!
@Robert Shields by my van? Then yes. 😂

Rode it yesterday. I haven't been there in over a decade. Lots of features now. It's technically but fun.
Super cool and unique stuff that I didn’t expect to find down in the sunshine state !
Great video really shows off Loyce/ Carter Road. You've got some skills on the bike. Nice editing and voice overs. Can't wait to try that jump line!
I am exciting to go back this winter and ride here again! Was so much fun ! Thanks bud!
So cool how you go through all that you do to video not only the trails but how you video the freeway traveling to the parks. I really like watching RUclips to find new places to go and Mt Bike Thank You
Thanks bud! Showing you all the best places worth traveling to is one of my biggest goals with the channel so I really appreciate the kind words!!
Peter Pan trails, you go off and you end up like Capn Hook, with one leg. Scary tight trails, Caleb, great job!
I was repeatedly thinking of Peter Pan watching this, and then I saw your comment!
Lol that never crossed my mind but now I can't unsee it!
Sick bro, I have a race here tomorrow and I'm pumped about it :)
Oh that’s gonna so cool! Have a great time and rip it hard bud!
Sick videos. I just now got into mountain biking, lived in Florida my whole life, and never knew we had such cool trails. Time to do some travelling!
I’m excited to go down for another trip this winter! Best place to ride when your local stuff is all dealing with freeze/thaw conditions!
I love these videos! Awesome camera work, sound and commentary. And a bunch are in Florida where I live.
You describing it yesterday is nothing like seeing you ride it!! I would need to bring my floaties!!!!
Lol glad you enjoyed it bud! I was so terrified of ending up in the water I held back a lot!
Someday I’ll get there😜 such a great job capturing the feel of the park. Really enjoyed this video from start to finish!🤙
Thanks bud! Can't wait to get started on the edit with you at Grapefruit!
@@MtbFrequentFlyer pressure is on!
Fun vid. Thanks for sharing .
Thanks for watching and supporting the channel mate!
😃This is a great mtb video! I believe in you, you just earned a new subscribers
Thanks so much for the support! I had a great time filming and editing this one for sure!
Did you actually see any gaters? I've hit a Bonner log about the same size at that at a bike park but like you I would be cautious about going into the water
Fortunately no gators were ran into but everyone I talked to said they see them all the time!
Still haven’t made it up there and can’t wait now. Great edit. This could/should be on the parks website. 🤙 subbed.
Thanks bud! Appreciate the support and this place is definitely bucket list material
Caleb, this looks like an advanced mtb park. Honestly I’m not sure about it. So skinny and steep and gators in water off that edge. However the scenery is amazing, and I thoroughly enjoyed this vid start to finish! Such a great edit! And that local rider is pretty good! Can’t wait to see GFT next 😅
Thanks Kate! I’m super excited to start working on the grapefruit trails edit!
Great job putting these videos together. Do you just use the go pro and the Sony. Do you have more than one of each? Thanks in advance and keep it up!
Yep just one of each and just recently added a DJI mavic mini 2 for those sick aerial shots
There is so much more out there . I live in Lakeland and learned to ride trails out there when I started . Carter is a blast . But it’s gonna make you earn it .
This trail system was quite extensive so I gotta come back since they seem to be constantly adding new features and trails!
great video. that place looks awesome!
I’m just getting into MTB here is Florida, your videos are inspiring, keep it up.
Thanks mate! Glad you enjoyed and hope to keep ya entertained!
Nice video! These Florida trails are awesome. Keep it up!
Thanks bud! I am camping at Santos now and can’t wait to finish up the edits from the trip!
Cool Vid man Keep it up you got my support always🤙🏽🤙🏽❤
Thanks so much mate! Will try my best to keep ya entertained 😃
Alligators in the water? I hadn't even thought about *that* consequence!! 😬
Definitely not something I wanna swim with
Great video, trails look unique but fun. Quite an incentive to stay on the trails knowing there’s crocs in the water 🐊
I was gonna make sure to not join the swim club at all costs!
Excellent videography!!!
Thanks so much! Appreciate the support!
Nice!! Adding it to my to-go list 🤘
This is a must hit for sure! Thanks for watching mate!
What a unique trail system great riding 👍
Have you been through Bama yet? Come check out Oak Mountain State Park, Chewacala State Park and Coldwater Mountain!
I’ve been to chewalca and cold water but never oak! Gotta check that one off the list still
Sweet video man. Keep it up.
Thanks mate! I can't wait to start getting creative with the new camera!
I’m 15 years old and just got into riding these trails let’s just say that it ain’t for the weak but is hella fun if you can do it ima head out there again today
Great job on that skinny 👏
My trail guide had that thing on lock!
How did you make this pop up in my notifications again 15 minutes ago? I must know this trick lol
Lol no clue my dude
@@MtbFrequentFlyer hmmm youtube ninja perhaps lol no worries! just never seen that happen b4 - thought it was a surprise part 2 to that spot :)
The b roll thoo
Lol thanks bud I can't wait to start adding some drone footage to it! Just picked up the mini 2!
I built those trails at Carter Rd. in Lakeland back in the early early 90's, before the Ridge Riders took over and whomever else since then. They've come along way since then! Not a fan of the wood stunts though, wish they had left it all natural and just used dirt/sand to build obstacles and done creative natural landscaping.
Carter road swim team ;)
Not something I wanna be a part of lol
I love how in FL a green circle jump line is rated double black😂😂
The cannon is pretty legit though
The wood tabletops used to not be there so considering it was multiple bike length gaps I’d say single black would be warranted

Dude was sending it!
We used to walk those trails to fish years ago before mountain biking out there became so popular. Now they think the trails belong to them and they don't watch out for others.... sad to see really.
