I absolutely LOVE this! I have been watching the pouring videos done on large pieces and am ever so grateful that you did one for card makers! I have to go back and check out all the things you used and suggested and see what I can find. This so says Christmas cards to me! Thank you for your time and mess and even letting me know how to clean my clothes quickly - LOL! Bet I make more of a mess than you did! So appreciated, I just can't tell you.
Thank you so much for translating this technique to card making. I have wanted to do thing for so long but didn’t want to do large canvases so this is perfect! Love them all.
O wow! What a fabulous technique with gorgeous results!! I LOVE all the panels you ended up with. They are just amazing!! I appreciate all the tips and tricks as well. Thanks for the awesome inspiration!!
Oh that is gorgeous!! I've been captivated by pouring videos, this one included. I haven't ventured into this, since I've recently began investing in copics. But this is likely next on my list.
I’ve been watching these pouring techniques on Instagram. I love your tutorial on making them for card makers! Thank You so much for the awesome inspiration & great tips!
Beautiful creations, and I'm so glad to see that there wasn't too much waste. We are going to have a try at acrylics with the craft group I help at, but I think we are going to be doing the swipe technique with plastic rulers to begin with. But I will certainly try and get a load of card/board cut to size that we can use on future projects. Thank you so much for the inspiration :) x
Incredible panels! I'll never do this technique, ok maybe not anytime soon, but you've piqued my interest. :D Sincerely, beautiful cards too. Thanks for sharing.
I love a demonstrator with a sense of humor. I can't tell you how often I have ended up with paint on my person. This was a great demo. I have been watching many of them highlighting this kind of project. Now I think I will give it a try. Thank you so much!
I love acrylic pouring with my grandkids. To keep the cost down I use sticky back canvas on a medium weight chipboard. It seems to work okay. Thanks for the fantastic video. I learned a lot.
Thank you! I did some watermarbling with acrylic inks a few years back, but as you say, the water dilutes the color too much. I loved the patterns, but was so sorry not to get vibrant colors. I can't wait to try this method; especially since I have a bunch of metallic acrylic inks I don't use much otherwise. The inks are a different brand but I think they should work fine.
Wow! Awesome demo. I think framing these would be a great gift for someone! I love every one of your pours. Can you achieve the same results with regular craft acrylic paints?
How wonderful. I have the "stuff" to do pouring, but the large scale I see in RUclips videos scared me off. I am so happy to see this video! I am putting the video in my Favorites.
What was the product that you poured the paint on? You used the term "canvas" but to me being a card maker my "canvas" is cardstock. This technique was very interesting and very pretty when the cards were completed . Thank you for a great tutorial.
can you do them on fome board or the big boards that are thicker at dollar tree and if you use a trash bag although its slides the peal off sometimes after 5 days to dry or so
@@JanetteKausen I have used these canvas panels and they have always warped. Any tips to avoid that from happening? Thank you and I loved this tutorial!!❤
@@jessicavee78 Hi Jessica! The canvas panels I have used in the video did not warp (for me), at all. They have a very sturdy backing. Kind of like a super heavy coated chipboard, but way sturdier. That is just the closest think I can think of to compare it with. When I just used chipboard, paper or cardstock it did warp terribly!
Hi Donna! I actually had very little paint left over. By combining all that was in the pouring cups and smooshing panels into the paint runoff there was very little excess. It was thoroughly therapeutic and I loved the process!
These are all so beautiful Janette.
This is such a fantastic idea!
Absolutely stunning!!!
This was fab Janette! 💗💗💗
Wow so pleased i found you. These are exquisite and i can't wait till try these.
I love messy projects! Soooo much fun.

Are you making cards with a canvas as the card front?
Can you do an acrylic pour on cardstock?
Thank you for the detail explanation. 👍🏽
Very cool!
great video
Love these. How long do you have to let the panels dry before applying the cornstarch?

can lay the clear file folders that are use for dividers for files they peal off for ready made skins
can you do them on fome board or the big boards that are thicker at dollar tree and if you use a trash bag although its slides the peal off sometimes after 5 days to dry or so
Loved this AcP, and the modifications for card makers! Would Liquitex Basic paints create a similar look?? TFS! 😍😘👍🏾🤘🏾🎉
Yes they do. I've used them for this before.
📌 OMG ! I don't save many videos, but my word ! I had to save this to my Pinterest board crafting w/ paper!!! Thanks bunches.
🙋 Nana in se OK usa
What about using water color paper?
Hi can I ask if you were selling these how much would you charge for each card?
Where did she get those card sized canvases?
Amazon! They are 4" x 6". I have not been able to locate A2 sized, but I prefer the canvas over chipboard or watercolor paper.

Try gold fold on sticky not quite dry spots!
WOW!!!
I love the colors and effects you can get with pouring, but it seems so wasteful. Is it just me? That being said, the pours are beautiful!

freezer paper works they say
